Twat_Out_Of_Hell 11-15-2004 01:14 PM

There's nothing wrong with proper pop-punk.

There's plenty wrong with the music that people think is pop-punk

(Is anyone else having problems signing into MSN)

bobbass4k 11-15-2004 01:14 PM

dave grohl 11-15-2004 01:14 PM

Even the stuff that people says p-punk and aint is usualy good. All pop-punk, some punk, most ska is great.

I still cant say Ska though, darn speach impediment things.

oooooookay....my mate keeps trying to tell me new found glory are punk which I find hilarious and repl with "no theyre emo- emo kid" or something along the lines but she doesn't seem to grasp what real punk is arghhhhh *even if NFG aren't the most emo band around, theyre still at least pop-punk, not punk!! Shes now taken to calling them punk-rock as I ignore her attempts at calling it straight punk.

Am I completely in the wrong here??

Id say Pop-punk, and i hjonestly think the whole "not punk if signed to major record" is crap, cuase if they want to have there music heard then theyll have to be, you cant get big off a small label. Thats one of the things that pisses me off about the whole punk thing.

duffroxmysox 11-15-2004 01:25 PM
