i generally have to lie down reading for an hour without any tv on or any room lights on

when i used to smoke weed i could fall asleep on command after a bowl, but now its not that easy

Everyone has a natural sleep cycle, like when you're body wants to rest. I operate best going to bed around 4 AM and waking up at noon. I have to be awake and leaving at 7 in the morning, which means I need to try and go to bed like 5-6 hours earlier than I want to

did you read the part about getting into the work cycle

you see after staying up that long + working you will be tired and can sleep better, and it's really confusing i know but that helps to get you into a routine after a couple days you see
