At first listen, I'm ****ing disappointed. It's like they took all the gay parts of The Gathering and made an album out of them.

The Persecuted Won't Forget, Killing Season, Henchmen Ride, and Afterlife are pretty good, and the last track has some good moments, but there's so much faggotry.

Most Alex's solos don't really come out and have any punch. No memorable ones like Over the Wall or anything. That's kind of strange.

I bought Beneath the Remains 2 days ago. Really awsome.

I found one of the 3 missing Testament tracks. It's the title track. It's really good, until it goes into the worst breakdown (????????????????) ever for like 3 minutes.

Me too. Such a disappointment. I'm seeing them live like 2 days after the album comes out. Maybe the new stuff will be better live.

I kinda like the song F.E.A.R. now, but man, I've been listening to that album so much and it still is just not clicking.

Anyway, anyone else here listen to Angelripper's old side-project, Desperados? Western folk influenced thrash...it's quite interesting. Basically it sounds like M-16 era Sodom with a strong western tint. And it's got Angelripper on vocals \m/
