Rush--WorkingMan 06-09-2005 08:15 AM

The long version of Thuderstruck just has OLes in it nothing special

spraypaint_anything 06-09-2005 08:15 AM

I like the long version of Thunderstruck it's really cool how they use the audience to help the m out with the added parts to the song

Rush--WorkingMan 06-09-2005 08:16 AM

The Long version of Let There Be Rock is sick

spraypaint_anything 06-09-2005 08:16 AM

The Back in Black is cool as well

Rush--WorkingMan 06-09-2005 08:16 AM

The beginning of Back In Black is deiiferent and ending sorta weird

spraypaint_anything 06-09-2005 08:16 AM

Ya the long version of that is pretty sick

Rush--WorkingMan 06-09-2005 08:17 AM

Back In Black is still good even though it is different

spraypaint_anything 06-09-2005 08:17 AM

Ya it is still pretty cool.

Rush--WorkingMan 06-09-2005 08:17 AM

All their songs on that album have major raging at the end

Rush--WorkingMan 06-09-2005 08:18 AM

Their producer for For Those About To Rock wanted to stop that in 1981

spraypaint_anything 06-09-2005 08:18 AM

2.It's spelled Album
3.It's AC/DC
4.He only produced three AC/DC albums and hopefully a fourth.

Brewer14 06-09-2005 08:24 PM

Aeaon 06-09-2005 09:16 PM

That's a pretty good list.

The only AC/DC songs I've heard on the radio so far are Hells Bells and Highway To Hell.

Brewer14 06-09-2005 09:25 PM

Really? Ive heard those, plus the list, and Back in Black, Dirty Deeds, Shoot to Thrill, Girls Got Rhythm, You Shook Me All Night Long, Problem Child, For Those About To Rock, TNT, Shes Got Balls, High Voltage, and Let There Be Rock. Im kind of surprised I havent heard Thunderstruck.

Aeaon 06-09-2005 09:31 PM

I was talking about a different station.

Brewer14 06-09-2005 09:54 PM

Thats pretty weird, you'd think it'd be the other way around seeing that I live in the states

Bon_Scottie 06-10-2005 04:11 PM

AC/DC don't get the radio station credit they deserve. Most of the stations don't even play some of the great, great tracks. They normally just hit you off with a few of the really popular ones.

So, hows this recording of an AC/DC cover going? I can do drums/guitar if anybody needs it, if not... no worries.

We performed at a battle of the bands last night. We only got to play one song, but we played Highway to Hell. I got to kick out the intro and the solo, so I was smiles all round. We got a huge clap at the end, so everybodies happy. We looked the part too, I had my AC/DC back in black t-shirt and jeans, lead singer had his studded leather jacket with clash logo on the back...

Yeah, you care.

Ac/dc doesn't get the air time like they used to because they haven't put anything new out in the last 5 years, when they put out a new album they'll get air time.

and about your last thing there...
WOW :amaze: :amaze:

AB/CD 06-10-2005 04:24 PM

what song r u all doing for this wee competition i would do bass for it if needed but dunno how i would record it unless a mic would do

ArcLite 06-10-2005 04:33 PM

AB/CD 06-10-2005 05:15 PM

Brewer14 06-10-2005 08:24 PM

MrHigh 06-10-2005 08:47 PM

what thread is the one with the acdc covers cause i might get together and do dirty deeds or highway to hell or something else

Brew 06-11-2005 08:03 AM
We're doing Dirty Deeds. And thanks, but bass is covered.
:)

When are we going to get it recorded?

maddog87 06-11-2005 02:09 PM

i can play angus's lead on pretty much every song perfectly if anyone wants me to. if someone else is already doing it then thats fine

Bon_Scottie 06-11-2005 05:01 PM

Maybe you could do two covers, and decide which ones the best?

I don't mind drumming/rhythm guitaring.

Plus, you should do one of the really popular ones like highway to hell or back in black.

Highway to Hell would be the easiest to record and loop over eachother.

Brew 06-11-2005 05:14 PM

We've now got 'til August 1st, so I think we should at least 5 songs like the other threads.
