Necrophagist guitar isn't nearly as tough as people make it out to be.

Steerpike 08-16-2007 02:40 AM

I hear Stabwound and I think of Strong Bad.

C.O.A. 08-16-2007 02:41 AM

well i can't sweep so yeah it's kinda hard for me.

i can play the rhythm, kinda.
Necrophagist guitar isn't nearly as tough as people make it out to be.
Rhythm or lead?

C.O.A. 08-16-2007 03:24 AM

until he puts up a video of himself playing the lead parts of any necrophagist song, that comment holds no weight as far as i'm concerned.

Shred Danson 08-16-2007 06:13 AM

C.O.A. - My problem is you. And your goddamn face.

Since you were wondering.

I've got a couple of other Ghostface ones and they're pretty good, he's my favourite Clan member tbh.
for me he's top 3 with ODB and GZA

Raekwon the Chef owns!

Glitterati 08-16-2007 10:05 AM

Personally I only listen to Tiny Tim, so I have no idea what you guys are talking about.
Rhythm or lead?
Either. Or both.
until he puts up a video of himself playing the lead parts of any necrophagist song, that comment holds no weight as far as i'm concerned.
That was unnecessarily critical and nasty, don't you think?

Kage 08-16-2007 10:20 AM

Regardless of how difficult Necrophagist guitar parts may or may not be, that doesn't take away from how stupid and unoriginal they sound.

Glitterati 08-16-2007 10:29 AM
That was unnecessarily critical and nasty, don't you think?
*opens up giant book*

*puts on comically-oversized reading glasses*

A Teenager's Guide To Metal, Chapter Four, Page Seventeen, Article v.15:

"Thou shalt not critisize, lest thy can perform said piece of music".

Kage 08-16-2007 10:34 AM

That's actually not a rule, and it bugs me when people think that way.

Lunch 08-16-2007 10:35 AM

I saw Wu Tang this month :-D

superpeer 08-16-2007 11:32 AM

Wu-Tang aren't very good live imo =(

There's too many of them and they all want to do something, so they all just yell.

Shattered_Future 08-16-2007 11:43 AM

I just got Enter The Wu-Tang Clan cause of all the good reviews I've seen of it. I plan to roll through rich Jewish doctor neighborhoods later and blast that shiz out my minivan.

superpeer 08-16-2007 11:46 AM

Yeah, that's a brilliant album.

Shattered_Future 08-16-2007 11:47 AM

After Forever's S/T album also came in the mail today. :D

Glitterati 08-16-2007 01:26 PM

Yeah but that show is like 8 hours long and the host sounds like he's on 6 kinds of sleeping pills.

Eliminator 08-16-2007 01:36 PM

where wur u in nine-ee-2

Illmatic 08-16-2007 01:37 PM
I saw Wu Tang this month :-D
what'd their setlist look like without ODB?
Wu-Tang aren't very good live imo =(
they were great when I saw them, although they're actually better live on their own (the two best show's I've ever been to were Method Man with Inspectah Deck last year, and GZA a couple years before that)

This is one of the funniest songs I've ever heard. Sonata Arctica can be so ****ing lame when they try.

Glitterati 08-16-2007 02:02 PM

I got twenty seven seconds in and then shut that **** off

no thanks

Tyler 08-16-2007 02:03 PM

You have to get to teh chorus at least, it's hilarious.

"You touch me in many many ways but I'm shy can't you see"

Oubliette 08-16-2007 02:09 PM

! That was hilariously awesome.

Eliminator 08-16-2007 02:09 PM
