New Arsis is pretty meh. But check out their EP 'A Diamond for Disease' for some quality Melodic Death.

and Cynic.. took me quite a few spins to get into because there is so much going on, but, jesus Focus is one of my favourite albums of all time.. so keep trying!

hahah don't worry mate. I am the opposite. I spend no time improving my technic on Electric guitar and learning songs and just jam and write stuff. I can't play half the stuff I have written lol! Its too hard!

According to mr. Windmill Headbanging, if it has melody and isn't old school, it sucks.

Kacper, when writing stuff just write numerous different riffs in different keys and eventually you will start to see how some could come together.

the hardest song i've wrote is going something like this (alternate picking); triplets at 160bpm-180bpm (something inbetween)
