Are there any quality travel acoustic basses? I saw a Martin travel guitar, and I loved it.....
|

Yes, it's a hollowbody. |
Or how about these:

I think those input jacks with the lock make you look famous......
|
I was thinking of a Ampeg 4x12 + Ampeg 4x10.
Whatcha think? ;p
I'd personaly go a 4x10 and 1x15. The 15's give alot of punch. 4x12's are very mid based, which can be bad at times. They generaly don't handle the lows like people make out though. |

How about her....er...the bass. Yar. |
Or how about these:
I was looking at those today.... seen the new Cort Curbow retro? And by travel bass I mean small and manageable, being acoustic is not a problem, I could just buy one of those silly fender guitar amps that are about 6 inches long..... |

I played a BTB405 with a locking jack. Didn't know they had them. :p popin: I've been considering the BXT410 + BXT115. Wooten sig models...don't know if they hit the 48hz though. |

When I first got my GT-7 I kept getting lost when playing. :upset:
|
Are those necks on the Curbows quarter sawn?
|
What about these Paul.
http://www.guitarasylum.com/productpages/fernandes/nomad_bass2001.htm Thats a built in mimi amp. |
When I first got my GT-7 I kept getting lost when playing. :upset:
But it was the hand you play with.... I played a vintage purple Hofner Beatle bass that day too.... I thought I would get shot by the salespeople.... |
How bad does it paly?
How bad does it paly?
YAr.
Way to be joe. |
Funk, is that a nomad? The link wouldn't work for me.... Those nomads are wierd.... Especially the Star-Wars ones...
|
Yeah it was a nomad.
|
How bad does it paly?
YAr.
It sounded terrible, but was 3,500$..... |
Yeah it was a nomad.
Those are the only one I know of with built in amps.... |
Way to be joe.
Way to point out my laziness. Yar. joe |
:p
I wanna get a drumset. There's a nice ?Sonor? that has double bass for 750... Then again I want a 10-string Conklin. So I dunno about my decision making. :p |
to keep on my question streak, what basses put "tone blocks" in their basses? It is essentially a block of very resonant metal (Greg Curbow used bell metal) inside of the bass for tone, and I'd assume it would add to the sustain with the mass it adds..... I'm rather interested in them....
