 how can James write whiskey in the jar when it's a cover?
didn't he write the music :thumb: just cuz it's a cover doesn't mean it's like the original. i haven't heard the original |
original will make you laugh because its so unmetal
|
They were on Garage Inc., the two disc set. I recommend it highly if you don't have it.
Sorry to bring this back, but this was my point. Garage Days was a completely different thing to Garage Inc. True the whole of Garage Days is included on Garage Inc, but neither of the songs that person mentioned were on it. Ok, got that! |
wait what?
|
Argh! Garage Days Revisited was released in 1987, yes. I was just pointing out that neither Tuesdays Gone or Whiskey In The Jar were on that.
What the hells so hard to comprehend? |

James plays the solo in NEM both live and in the studio. Watch S&M and Live **** for proof. He plays the solo on S&M on his acoustic, while Kirk is just standing there strumming some chords.

which song do you guys think hetfields voice sounds best in?
|
Depends what you mean by best. He sounds a lot more like a proper singer in later albums, but I prefer his raw style from the earlier albums. My personal preference is Creeping Death.

i like master of puppets, and anything where he all out like grunts, i dont realy like his singing voice all that much ,its alright. |
I think his voice comes out the best live.
|
I think his voice comes out the best live.
I agree with this completely. Most of his live performances show his voice better. |

You got that right, his voice i h8 in the latter albums. Thrash ROCKS!! :thumb: |
I think his voice was the best when they made ...And Justice For All
|
I think his voice was the best when they made ...And Justice For All
At least his voice wasn't all screechy and 15-year-old-like like it was on Ride the Lightning. (great album btw) |
At least his voice wasn't all screechy and 15-year-old-like like it was on Ride the Lightning.
(great album btw)
Yeah, I thought that during the KEA and RTL years, his voice was kind of weird, but during MOP and AJFA years i thought his voice was great. RTL= best album :thumb: IMO |
Yeah, I thought that during the KEA and RTL years, his voice was kind of weird, but during MOP and AJFA years i thought his voice was great.
RTL= best album :thumb: IMO
MOP was still kind of screechy in parts. By AJFA, the Jäger consumption had reached an all time high because of Cliff's death, so the vocals are appropriately beer-drenched and tough-sounding. |
I think his voice comes out the best live.
The only song I think completely sucks live is Nothing Else Matters. James' does wierd stuff with his voice. |
Lars settled the Beatallica thing. That's something I didn't expect. Lars just regained all respect from me.
