Matt? 09-26-2006 03:55 PM

i have a lab to do but i'm too lazy to do it at the moment, i suppose.
All New England kids should hit this up.
Eh, I might.

Chris: I got it, too. I think it's pretty good. Like you said in the IM, it's a lot mellower, but I still dig it a lot.

My physics teacher's grandma died today. He told us that she was in critical condition over the weekend, and if his phone went off he would have to leave and wouldnt be back this week. Then after lunch, somebody told me after he explained that to their class his phone rang and he just put his head down, then a couple of minutes later he walked out talking on the phone.

bottlerocket 09-26-2006 07:49 PM

That sucks, dude. :upset:

How old is your teacher? If his grandmother is just dying, he must be young or she must be pretty old.

-Gav

cobert 09-26-2006 08:10 PM

He's probably about 30, so she was most likely old as dirt.

The Great Decay 09-26-2006 08:33 PM

That's still tough, even if she was old enough to go.

Matt? 09-26-2006 08:38 PM

getting 3 ordination of aaron seven inches this week hopefully

cobert 09-26-2006 08:39 PM

To awkwardly change the subject...

I would love to see the original cut of The Thin Red Line. The final cut was about two and a half hours, but I read the original was just over six, and some big name actors had huge parts that got cut out.

Matt? 09-26-2006 08:47 PM

well see that post where i said " i probably won't start this lab now, most likely" or whatever it says.

five hours have passed since i started.

finally i have finished.

The Great Decay 09-26-2006 08:49 PM

Five hours for a lab? Weak.

bottlerocket 09-26-2006 09:28 PM

My labs are 5 hours long...not writing them, just doing them in the laboratory, collecting data, printing out graphs, etc., THEN you go home and formally type your lab, which takes a good 5 hours, since you need to show all your calculations with correct sig figs, uncertainties, etc.

Being a chem major sucks and I just started. :(

-Gav

AIRIC 09-26-2006 09:35 PM

Chemistry is SO hard right now :(

I have no idea what's happening, but it's okay since i'd say 3 quarters of my chem class is also clueless so I will just deal.

bottlerocket 09-26-2006 09:57 PM

Well, what are you doing right now?

-Gav

AIRIC 09-26-2006 09:59 PM

I dont know Gav I dont even want to discuss it. :upset:

bottlerocket 09-26-2006 10:00 PM

What's the topic called? I can try and help clarify.

-Gav

AIRIC 09-26-2006 10:08 PM

I'm guessing it's just the first thing you ever learn about in chemistry.

Words I can recall are like: Ions, Antions (i think) Valence electrons.

I think we're just learngin about realllly basic stuff before we get into other stuff.

You are crazy.

-Gav

RetiredAt21 09-27-2006 09:24 AM

My friend bought some s'hitty coke from a wigger last night. I don't like snorting stuff.

bottlerocket 09-27-2006 09:26 AM

Justin, what drugs do you do?

-Gav

pixiesfanyo 09-27-2006 09:57 AM

^ ROFL

My friends and I got hit up by a weed vulture yesterday. We were smoking a bone near the lacrosse field and he came up and was like, "Yo, dudes, lemme get a hit." I swear, it was like the scene in Half Baked with Snoop Dogg. He took this beastly hit that killed like a quarter of our J and was like, "Chill, dudes, I didn't even hit it yet."

It was so lame.

Une simple étoile!

srt-4 09-27-2006 02:34 PM

such an awesome band, and one of my favorite songs by them. that riff at like 30 seconds into it is so cool.

pixiesfanyo 09-27-2006 02:40 PM

Are they still releasing that post-mortem 12"?

srt-4 09-27-2006 02:49 PM

i thought it was a 7", and as far as i know yes. it wasn't supposed to be out for probably a couple months still. i haven't seen that they changed their mind about it.

pixiesfanyo 09-27-2006 02:51 PM

7" 12" 3"

it's all the same too me.

srt-4 09-27-2006 02:55 PM

well, if the number of songs on it is relative to its size, then its not the same to me. i want as many songs as possible if this is all we're gonna get. i'm still bummed.

Are you talking about bond theory and molecular geometry?

That stuff is a joke, you learn it in like grade 9.

Matt? 09-27-2006 05:04 PM

god dammit i jusy lost forty five points on that lab because of "formatting errors", meaning, i didn't set it up correctly

:( :( :( :(

The Great Decay 09-27-2006 05:06 PM

I lost 0.5 of a mark (out of ten) because the small amount of writing I did for a lab "could have been neater".

Matt? 09-27-2006 05:09 PM

i did extra work ie: hypothesis, observations, etc... and she was like "these weren't required -5,-5,-5"

gar

The Great Decay 09-27-2006 05:09 PM

That's weak.

Brain Toad 09-27-2006 08:13 PM

Sup Emoz

I've been listening to emo all week on my way to school and on my way home. I made a pretty huge MP3 CD with about 15 albums. Nero automatically sorted them by year (since thats how the folders were labeled). So it's been like a little progression of Emo.

The female vocals in As the Roots Undo sound very much like female vocals in anarcho music.
