do you have the Evens - Get Evens or Lilys Accseme the Photon Band?

the Evens are cool its a cool Ian MacKaye project with a good drummer and female vocalist its interesting
Cap'nCrunch is delicious, but it hurts the roof of my mouth. So it goes.
yes agreed

Boilermaker 11-15-2007 05:13 PM

Yea, I have both of the Evens records. I saw them a couple of months ago. Ian was really nice and it was cool to talk to him.

I'll check out that Lilys album.

More suggestions plz.

poopie 11-15-2007 05:56 PM

im seeing them Saturday night. im excited.

Robert Crumb 11-15-2007 06:58 PM

I'm trying to decide whether or not I should see Caetano Veloso on Sat. Show is almost sold out, seats wouldn't be ideal and even still they're $55. But he's a favorite and he's playing stuff from Ce which was a pretty good album. So torn.

Thanks 11-15-2007 08:03 PM

He was just here, and I didn't go. That's a hella high ticket price!

Thanks 11-15-2007 08:04 PM

I go home for the first time in ages and find that both my mum and sister are at each throats the whole time. Bloody nightmare.

In other news I'm finally going to a gig - haven't been to one in ages and been telling myself to go but never actually had the time and had other commitments.

Going to see KRS One, Luniz, Ras Kass, The Alkaholiks (not all of them unfortunately), JME, Skepta & DJ Whoo Kid from G Unit. Should be a decent night. My mate saw a flyer advertising it, saw KRS One was playing and got himself and me a ticket. Only cost £12 so should be a great night.

AndreTheHyena 11-17-2007 02:45 PM

What's that website where you can list all of the music you own by medium (record, tape, cd, mp3, etc) and rate them? I used to have one but I can't recall...

Anxious 11-17-2007 02:47 PM

rateyourmusic.com

AndreTheHyena 11-17-2007 02:48 PM

Cool. I finally got internet at my house (I've been without since March), so I'm looking for lots of good ways to waste my time...

superpeer 11-17-2007 02:55 PM

Rateyourmusic is awesome to waste your time on.

Neoteric 11-17-2007 02:58 PM

ya plus their discographies are really good and there is a lot of members there with extremely diverse taste and i like that

pixiesfanyo 11-17-2007 02:59 PM

i have diverse taste lol.

Anxious 11-17-2007 03:05 PM

For someone that has 30,000 songs, rym is a profound waste of time.

pixiesfanyo 11-17-2007 03:07 PM

liar.

Interstate 11-17-2007 03:16 PM

RYM is brilliant, I've used it for the past few years as a music source and it's provided some great results.

Youngs 11-17-2007 03:22 PM

That thrills me to know.

SubtleDagger 11-17-2007 03:24 PM

RYM rules

pixiesfanyo 11-17-2007 03:30 PM

RYM is totally HIP
For someone that has 30,000 songs, rym is a profound waste of time.
Yeah, but I'm not using it for mp3s. Just my actual real-world collections.

pulseczar 11-17-2007 03:53 PM

i dont need a website to tell me how to rate my ****ing music **** that

AndreTheHyena 11-17-2007 03:54 PM

I don't use to rate my stuff, really, just to have a cool little visual of all of the tapes, records, and cds I own.

This is me, if anyone cares. So far, I've just uploaded the cd's and stuff in the box I have sitting next to me...
