Yea Load is good, It got alot of lashing lol, But i know why it didn't go down with most people, I know the true reason why a lot of people say they wen't downhill after Black album

Look at the previous albums

Kill em all
Ride the lightning
Master of puppets
And Justice for all

All these amazing albums over a period of time......
Ok, looking at the 5 above albums what type of fans do you think Metallica have?? I guess Hardcore Metal fans...
Ok, all these fans here of a new album coming out.!!! They get excited and rush to their local store to get copys quick, and they see an album there called Load, they grab it, and race to the counter, They get home and play it, and find Country???? WTF?? a bluesy feel, somewhat not heavy metal....
Its totally different to what they expect, of course they don't like it as much as previous albums, if they liked Country songs ect: They wouldnt be a Metallica fan lol, But of course, the upside is, They gained alot of fans who like such music as the tracks from load/Reload, and i know people who like there music from Load, to St Anger... Thats my theory as to why Load got the flack... Anyone have any other ideas as to why??? :amaze:

Unforgiven II is about the only song I listen from load/reload. Wouldn't it be cool if they made unforgiven III on their next album? They should make it more similar to the first one though.

I listen to Unforgiven II alot.. Fuel and Fixxxer are good songs too

load is definatly a big leap into the mainstream

and reload was a rocket into mainstream

Metallica was the rocket into mainstream. I don't think an album can sell 15 Milllion albums and not be considered so.

I just told you. Metallica/The Black Album sold 15 Million copies. I think it has the amount sold of each album on the official website but I can't be bothered checking.

Yeah, great CD.

It is a very underated CD IMO

Besides Loverman, all the songs are awesome.

I got it for my birthday from an uncle who doesn't know the first thing about 'tallica.


Astronomy is awesome. That's probably my favorite track off of both the discs.
