I don't think humans are that bad. Animals don't do anything. They eat, screw, die. The only thing that is accomplished is creating offspring, who will only accomplish creating more offspring.

Humans have done lots. Name 3 great books that goats have written. Name a great album recorded by a horse (unless of course, Mr. Ed had an album out at one time).

Sure, we do a great job of raping the earth and killing everything that isn't just like us, but we've done a lot more in the time that mankind has been around than whales have.

So out of curiosity, how'd you come across our google video? Just random, or what? :D
i typed in drums and it came up on page 4 or so

but how important is a book? i think our environment is more important than a book a couple hundred thousand people have read. humans havent done anything special, we started global warming and havent been able to stop it, cancer and aids havent been cured. we still kill out of stupid things like jealousy or greed. humans are a virus.

Untill we have conquered death, in essence all we do is eat screw and die as well.
I heard Fyberskins were wayyyyyyyyy thick. That you should get dips if you use ambs, and so on. Other than that, they seem nice enough.
Well can you guys suggest anything else.

I might just try a Coated EQ1...

What about an Aquarian SuperKick?

I have a superkick II, and I love it.

I though meant toms? I guess the Fyberskins would be ok for a bass drum. Aquarian makes a calf-like head, called Modern Vintage.

Blank 12-17-2005 03:06 PM

Has anybody played Ratchet deadlocked yet?
Im wondering if it's worth my money.
Is it any good?

-TheGlassPrison- 12-17-2005 03:15 PM

No man, im talking about bassdrums.
Im only considering Aquarian for the Superkick II, anything else will be either remo or Evans.

Ive pretty much narrowed it down to Coated EQ1,Superkick II or Fiberskyn PS3.

That's highly questionable, because there is no answer to life. But firstly, why are people looking for an answer? Life isn't a question.

Oh right...The meaning and/or secret to life. Well? What is it? Any offerings? Doubtful.
Whales are here for the same reason that we are. To experience life, slumber, food, reproduction, and death.

KWG 12-17-2005 04:09 PM

im pretty sure the answer is 42...come on

Carn 12-17-2005 04:18 PM
and sadly, its the truth. humans are a virus of the earth.
Yep. Thank god for things like AIDS and Ebola :thumb: I truly believe that diseases like that is just the ecosystem countering against us.

Double Bass Jim 12-17-2005 04:25 PM

Natural population control at it's finest.

Refl 12-17-2005 04:27 PM

Stupidity being the other most important population control.

Kosmos Tree 12-17-2005 04:27 PM

In nature, balance is kept because every animal has enemys or can only achieve a certain population due to food.

Now mankind doesn't have any natural enemies (except mankind itself) nor is it restricted to availability of food.
Now in high industrial countries population growth has come to halt, whereas in poor countries we can spot a high population growth. They need more food we need more resources and that is the problem, nobody can stop us from turning this planet into a second mars

Kosmos Tree 12-17-2005 04:29 PM
Stupidity being the other most important population control.
Unfortunately not.
Here in germany, less educated people get children and highly educated people don't, i believe it's the same in every country.

Double Bass Jim 12-17-2005 04:36 PM

Yes it's true. Stupid people always make more children.

More children = bad.

Seafroggys 12-17-2005 04:39 PM

ha no kidding I never want to have kids, and if I do I want to adopt an abondoned kid from some white trash mother or something, save the world from one more stupid person

Double Bass Jim 12-17-2005 04:42 PM

Yea it's an endless cycle, trash in trash out right? Thats the way it is.

Kosmos Tree 12-17-2005 04:43 PM

Well, i'd like to have kids, i don't think there's a better thing than seeing your own kids growing up

Seafroggys 12-17-2005 04:45 PM

yeah there's better things than that...

like making love to your wive every night, not having to worry about kids hearing it or seeing it

and hearing your own band's song on the radio....that would be a killer experience

Kosmos Tree 12-17-2005 04:48 PM

Uh well i'm planning to have kids when in my thirties, so that will leave me enough time with my gf :naughty:

Double Bass Jim 12-17-2005 04:48 PM

I think I would rather stand in the unemployment line... you know the kind that lasts 4-5 hours. Id rather do that then have children, id rather do ANYTHING then have children.

Undisco Kidd 12-17-2005 04:53 PM

I'd adopt a kid once I'm older. No way a napping baby is going to interrupt drum practice.

haha i hate children too

im thinking of getting a vasectomy when i become 16 and getting some sperm cryogenically frozen so then i can have all the sex i want

Kosmos Tree 12-17-2005 05:04 PM

Well, you'll probably regret it when you get older, oppinions change during your life.

Double Bass Jim 12-17-2005 05:13 PM

Not mine  hahaha

I've been the same way forever.

And p.m don't get that surgery man, you don't wanna go under the knife unless you have to. Altering your body = no good.

Kosmos Tree 12-17-2005 05:29 PM

Haha, that's why we all love you (in a strict platonic way of course ;) )

puppet.master 12-17-2005 05:29 PM

@jim

but

worry free sex

i havent had any technical surgery yet

but if been in the hospital lots

like the time i dislocated my thumb in a car door

I WAS CLOSING

haha man im dumb

lol i prolly wont go for the surgery though was just a thought

spike9908 12-17-2005 06:44 PM
Well, you'll probably regret it when you get older, oppinions change during your life.
yeah, but vascetimys are reversable.
I don't think humans are that bad. Animals don't do anything. They eat, screw, die. The only thing that is accomplished is creating offspring, who will only accomplish creating more offspring.
first of all, we already went over that humans are infact animals. second, it doesnt matter that we have technology, all other animals live the way life should be, survival of the fittest.

Kosmos Tree 12-17-2005 06:56 PM
yeah, but vascetimys are reversable.
From what i know it's irreversible, a piece of your spermatic duct is removed, so how would you reverse that?

spike9908 12-17-2005 06:58 PM
From what i know it's irreversible, a piece of your spermatic duct is removed, so how would you reverse that?
it might be. i remember my sister wanted her husband to get his reversed so they could have another kid, but i dont know if he could/did or not.

It's not 100% cut through, even after the operation there is still a tiny tiny tiny chance of one of the buggers getting through.

Panopticon 12-17-2005 07:15 PM
It's not 100% cut through, even after the operation there is still a tiny tiny tiny chance of one of the buggers getting through.
And theres a HUGE HUGE HUGE chance of that bugger getting lost somewhere in her body (literally) and dying and never reaching even close to the egg...

Jezen 12-17-2005 07:17 PM

You would be worried if she started complaining about a blocked nose.

rockindrummer 12-17-2005 07:17 PM

wow this talk on the world and people and animals has gone on for a rather long time.

I'll go with the SKII then, thanks.
