Speaking of baths, I wish I had a hot tub.

Arucard 06-27-2005 05:05 PM

the amount of girls you could get with one of those...

and Joe, I occasionally experiment with a day without showering to see how my hair goes... but other than that I need to every day

Girls seem to get 100x sluttier when they are in a hot tub.

And yes, girls also look 100000x sluttier in hot tubs with bikini's on.

Hmph.... Yeah, so I already posted the edited version of my song on my Myspace. The growls were just way too loud and it had to be remedied.

I've noticed that as far as singing goes, I need to sing loudly otherwise it's crap.

Haha, yeah. I have nothing against the Dutch. It's something like Americans and Canadians, Scots and English people, stuff like that. Love/hate relationship, all our jokes are about Dutch people, but we get along.

It's an historical thing, I guess, we used to be one country, so now we don't like to be called Dutch. The Amount of Holland - Belgium games on TV and in Sports is amazingly high.

In response to Jelle's question: you should save up, just because you like the stuff.

I really don't have much to reply to, other than a sad face at Ali for telling me I was wrong in my message to him.

So Ali: :(

So, here's a random conversation from everyone's beloved Belgian. By the way, Jelle, I don't know why your old display name still shows, because England Jake's is still "Countdown to my birthday : 3 hours!"

But I digress:

Bartender 06-27-2005 05:42 PM
didn't you try to rep Gur and fail?

Did I?

And this is the only connection I've ever had at home.

Jom 06-27-2005 05:43 PM

Part of it is because I've never been to one, which is why I asked everyone earlier about what happens at a wedding and the following reception (besides the obvious that they glamorize on TV and in the movies), particularly you since I know you went out to California for one.

And part of it is that it's in another state.

And part of it is that I hate a vast majority of my extended family. They're very quirky and rather embarrassing to be around.

I know that doesn't sound like it's saying much coming from me, but it's true. They'll do and say things that I can't even imagine saying or doing.

And plus, since alcohol is going to be served at this wedding, something bad is going to happen. Like with my cousin's (the bride's) father. That man cannot hold his liquor and past events have been, well, not so good.

My aunt is also paranoid and doesn't shut up.

And I really don't like my extended family.

Basically, everyone's nerves are going to be shot, and I'm going to hate it because a) I'm going to have no clue what's going on, b) I don't want to be there in the first place, and c) I have to drive five hours to get there.

But I'll get over it. I just don't like thinking about it.

Illmatic 06-27-2005 05:44 PM

Ah.

Well, I'd like to say that there's nothing to worry about, but clearly ther eis.

ATM 06-27-2005 05:45 PM

Why not just sit back and enjoy the ride? If everyone is all tense around you, just relax and take it all in. That's what I do, anyways.

Arucard 06-27-2005 05:46 PM

My close family are all Irish. At weddings, they queue up at the bar, get a drink, then join the end of the queue again.

jpj 06-27-2005 05:47 PM

All that happens at wedding receptions is you talk to people and pretend to like them/be nice to them, old people get drunk and dance so you can laugh at them, and there's free food so stop complaining.

Zero.

So today I had another long day at work. got up at 5:30, worked till 3:00. That may not seem like much, but for manual labor, it's quite laborious. then, I got home, and I got a call from my dad. "Hey, you gonna mow the lawn?"

Me- *"NO FATASS!! MOW IT YOUR OWN DAMN SELF!!!"

*yes

Illmatic 06-27-2005 05:49 PM

I'll take his word and assume that his family is unbearable, which can sour the experience. My family is great, so I never have a problem at big family gatherings.

Jom 06-27-2005 05:49 PM
Ah.

Well, I'd like to say that there's nothing to worry about, but clearly ther eis.
Nah, I'm not worried about anything, I just don't want to go and have to deal with all that. It's basically laziness on my part, but I just don't want to go. If it was in my state, I couldn't care less. But I don't want to go another state for a cousin's wedding who I haven't seen in at least a year, surrounded by an annoying extended family.

And plus, the groom has ten other siblings, so his family is going to be humongous, to say the least. I hope they aren't as paranoid as mine are.

But again, I really don't have anything to worry about, I just have no say in what goes on lately.
Holy **** Jom, your family sounds crazier than mine.
Heh, everyone's family is crazy some way or another, but mine is just plain weird.

Again, that probably doesn't mean much coming from me, so I guess it's hard to understand what I mean.
Why not just sit back and enjoy the ride? If everyone is all tense around you, just relax and take it all in. That's what I do, anyways.
But I don't want to goooooooooooooo (for reasons in this post and what I've mentioned already).
All that happens at wedding receptions is you talk to people and pretend to like them/be nice to them, old people get drunk and dance so you can laugh at them, and there's free food so stop complaining.
Okay, maybe you have an awesome extended family like Ray has or something, but you're not getting the gist of my rant, I don't think.

I'll be alright. I'm just not thrilled.
And Jom, it will be fine. There's always hot girls at weddings, free food and sometimes free booze. My family embaress me all the time, but ill get over it.
The only nice thing out of the reception is that if it gets irritating all I have to do is go upstairs to the room, since the reception is at the same place as where we're staying.

Congratulations 06-27-2005 05:50 PM
