i think darkthrone have always done what's trendy - death metal when its ****ing trendy in the most trendy style then following their friends who had already begun black metal and did stupid stuff like go out into the forest at night wearing corpsepaint and doing satanic rituals.

the trio are great black metal but i just find darkthrone just trendy people
