Nope...they are about equal..

Adrian is by far more technical, even though he doesn't show it...have you tried to play his solo to Paschendale?

And the website said that DotR was the last in 'History of Maiden' DVDs...
That can't be right, Death on the Road is just a concert DVD like Rock in Rio was, there's nothing about the actual album recordings.

Deacy 10-12-2005 10:20 AM
yah but we still get a album tour in '07 i think.
Cheers for the bootleg :thumb:

It's the same gig that's on the Early Days DVD o_O

there's footage of Maiden in the studio on it, its the only time they've ever allowed cameras into the studio.

Yes there is...there is video footage of them recording the album .etc

Go here; http://www.ironmaiden.com/article.php?section=1&subsection=1&article_type=&article_id=1139

I'll see if I can find the article where it said that it was the last part of the History of Maiden. It doesn't say it there, but Crag found it a while back and posted it here, in this here thread...

EDIT: Dammit, can't find it :upset:

Totally, the Powerslave artwork is tight, especially the album. I listen to Powerslave a lot. ;)

ashman 10-12-2005 07:56 PM

Has anyone seen the huge LP cover of Powerslave...there are so many comical references to everything...

Deth 10-12-2005 07:58 PM

Is there? I haven't seen it properly.
:amaze: how can that be????!!!?!?! is this a subtle hint that they are ending soon?
well bruce has metioned about ending in some recent interviews.......
also niko is almost 60

but i actually think they could replace niko. WE have had many line up changes and it seems that each new member has been embraced
adrian left, we embraced janik
clive left, we embraced niko
paul left, we embraced bruce
bruce ,left we embraced blaze

the_uber_penguin 10-13-2005 06:51 AM

Nicko's been in the band for 23 years now.

I don't think we'd embrace a new drummer, Clive had only been in the band 2 or 3 years, remember.

I'm not sure how well line up changes would go down. I doubt that the band would stop (I think Bruce and Adrian would keep driving the songwriting in the band if Steve were to leave - not like that's going to happen) but I think a line up change would seriously hurt the band.

I don't know - I hope they don't pack it in.

-The Frank 10-13-2005 07:27 AM

i think if they were to do a line up change they should bring back some of the old members.................................thunderstick anyone?

i really hope they dont end aswell. They are seriously my life. no joke. Only band that i havent stop listening to in the last year or so. cant stop, wont stop

the_uber_penguin 10-13-2005 07:30 AM

I think they should all switch positions for a song:

Drums: Adrian
Vocals: Davey
Bass: Jannick
Guitars: "The Count", Steve and Nicko
Keyboards: Bruce

-The Frank 10-13-2005 07:37 AM

hahah for a video ( i forget which one ) they actually just all did that to screw with their sponsers or something

Bingo...

the_uber_penguin 10-13-2005 02:15 PM
yes, who or what is this count?
The count is the unnamed member of the band who's been doing keyboards for them live since 1986.

Josh 10-13-2005 02:23 PM
The count is the unnamed member of the band who's been doing keyboards for them live since 1986.
me checks Rock in Rio cd slip insert thingy: "Special thanks to Michael Kenny for live keyboards."
right under where it lists the band members.

EDIT: he's on the credits in FOTD as well. so he's not exactly unnamed.
