I get what you're saying. It's not that the song isn't powerful, it's just that the word 'the' isn't....right?
|
I have 6 points too.
|
Do you guys honestly think this will be the last Tool album.
Hope it isn't. |
I have five.
|
Night, MX....see ya!
|
i got 5 as well
|
night Page
6 points here |
I have 6.
And no, I don't think this will be the last Tool album. I'd guess that they have one more in them after this one. |
I think it might be the last just due to the concept, the whole astrology aspect. Space is the farthest out we can go

heh, that's clever thinking. To tell you the truth, I don't think I'd be that dissapointed if it was their last album if it was really good. I mean, if their next album is an excellent epic that surpasses all that they have created before and it becomes one of my favorite albums, than I won't mind them retiring. They'd just be going out with a bang, which is better than them playing music for another 20 years and ending up like the Rolling Stones  I don't want to see Maynard look like a vampire. Only Keith Richards can pull off that look. |
well they are getting old(all in thier 40s i believe except Justin), not that age has a huge effect on songwriting, but it can in vocals and drumming. Danny is like 44/45 i think, i wonder if he could drum in a Meshuggah-like style which rumors say he might be doing. i wouldnt be surprised if this is their last album but i hope its not.
|
I have 5.
Theyll prob make one more album. |
^^^
Really? Holy crap, i didnt think Danny was that old. Im sure Myanard is only like 36 though... |

they are not that old. . .
|
they are not that old. . .
unless toolshed has their dates of birth wrong, yes they are... EDIT: or maybe you mean that 40 is not that old.. |
I thought they were in late 40's.
Now that I know this, I think they have one more after this one :thumb: |
Wow, thats very surprising. I think that this will be their last album.
|

EDIT: or maybe you mean that 40 is not that old..
lol its not. And hey they arent like fat hippos or like really thin. . .they got lots of left in em |
i was surprised when i first say thier birth dates, especially Danny('61) older than my dad lol
|
If this is their last, I can bet that at least a couple members will form good side projects besides the ones they already have. Id be curious what Adam does musically after they break up.
|
Yeah, I'm interested in Adam mostly when they break up. Also Justin.
|
I think one or two of the dudes from tool will re join once tool splits and do something together
|
Yeah, I'm interested in Adam mostly when they break up. Also Justin.
i think apc will kick out another one, possibly more than one. |
They might as well all just stay in Tool if they still have it in them to make more music, instead of going to seperate projects. They would have a much larger fanbase on their side and make a lot more money probably.

And they care at all about money? |
And they care at all about money?
maybe. once you start getting to the age were you stop making music, you might want to have enough money to support yourself for the rest of your life. But i think everyone can agree that another Tool album will sell more than an Atom Jones side project album for instance. Im not saying they only care about money when making an album, but it verywell may be a factor in how many more albums they will continue to make as they near the end of their Tool careers possibly. |
True.
But they might just want to play for fun like danny does on volto. Adam would perhaps go back to making movies and stuff. . . Danny as I said has a band and also has pigmy going on MAynard has apc and well justin. . I dunno much hes likes and stuff |

i highly doubt that. with their outlooks on life, they have much more than enough money to live. think about it |

I think i would be more interested in what he does after Tool if this is the last album. |
