I was hoping a Florida band would be friendly and play some Florida dates. |
[QUOTE=masscows;16218445]where[/QUOTE]
I haven't been keeping track, I just feel like I've seen it |
staying out of the deathcore thread would probably change how often you see it
|
hey guys
yew ever heard this band called animosity? |
[QUOTE=Solitary;16218347]Nothing has been made that matches the intensity, speed and madness of Legion. It was a one off and probably the best death metal album out.[/QUOTE]
you've gotta learn to use quote tags :p I've never been that much into Deicide, I think they're good for the occasional listen but that's about it. They did have the speed thing down, but their approach is a little too 1-D for me I guess compared to a lot of bands in the genre. |

I know what you mean about Deicide and I'd agree with the later material. Since Once Upon the Cross they have been that way but if you consider just s/t and Legion those two don't feel one dimensional. |
[size=666]size=666[/size]
|
666 is bigger than that.
|
i have exactly 666 songs on my ipod atm.
get on my dick. |
There was a point about a year and a half ago where Death to Jesus by Deicide was the 666th song on my iPod. It ruled for the week or so before I updated it.
|
I have no idea why this happened but I watched the Out of Body video from Pestilence and cannot stop listening to Consuming Impulse now.
[QUOTE=Solitary;16218636]Since Once Upon the Cross they have been that way but if you consider just s/t and Legion those two don't feel one dimensional.[/QUOTE] Even the s/t and Legion are pretty standard imo. There is no variation on them, just extremely fast and short songs. What makes those two albums better than their later stuff for me is that for some reason they were actually able to pull it off. I lost quite a bit of respect for the s/t after hearing Legion just because it is so much better, but both albums are great. |
i was listneing autopsy while walking around ad i was like hey death metal this is better than their other stuff death metal eliminator death metal
|
So I didn't know Pestilence will be releasing a new album next year. With Tony Cho.

I listen to Charred Remains on my way to work a lot and I can't help but attempt Chris' vocals. [QUOTE=Deth;16219353]So I didn't know Pestilence will be releasing a new album next year. So I forgot about a Bolt Thrower-Warmaster shirt auction that I was going to snipe on ebay that ended like half an hour ago :upset:

I love the new bloodbath
|
the EP? how is it?
|
It's a lot faster than Resurrection Through Carnage...the drumming is markedly improved. I'd say it's another great addition to Bloodbath's catalog.
|
[QUOTE=repcak;16220955]the EP? how is it?[/QUOTE]
I think its great. I love his vocals so much, their so evil. |

ftfw if they do |
I just listened to the new Prostitute Disfigurement songs on their myspace, they're surprisingly good and not wiggerish. The vocals aren't gay anymore either.

They changed vocals? Im checking them out right now |
They don't sound like a faster Devourment anymore, I'm kinda digging these songs. I think I'm gonna get that album.
|
Yea its a pretty good album.
On the other hand, someone tell me some amazing death metal. I want some really amazing that totally kicks ***. |
Get Terrorizer's [I]World Downfall[/I], it's death/grind but I can't stop listening to it lately, so good.
|
the drumming on that album is beastly
|
Very beastly.
|
especially compared to most death and grind drummers around then
|
Yeah, the thing I like the most the blasting is used in the right places and is never overused.
|
Yeah the new Prostitute Disfigurement is great, really varied n stuff. It doesn't even really sound like brutal death to me, alot of the tremolo picked melodies sound really evil and the vocals are ****ing great.
