A-Life-Less-Plagued 04-14-2005 03:19 PM

Yeah there is a bit of similarity.

A-Life-Less-Plagued 04-14-2005 03:22 PM

'Paper Tigers' by Thrice is a really good song.

Let's Chop Cats! 04-14-2005 03:22 PM

I haven't listened to Thrice in the longest time, nor heard their newest album in it's entirerty, but I'm going with no.

cbmartinez 04-14-2005 03:22 PM

I was listening to The Artist And The Ambulance and the riffing style reminds of Wake The Dead sometimes.

cbmartinez 04-14-2005 03:23 PM
'Paper Tigers' by Thrice is a really good song.
Yeah. If you like that, try getting "Silhouette."

SubtleDagger 04-14-2005 03:26 PM

"Silhouette" is too generic. "Hoods On Peregrine" owns it.

cbmartinez 04-14-2005 03:29 PM

I think he'd like "Silhouette" though, as it's one of the heaviest on the album. I finally really learned to appreciate "Melting Point Of Wax" yesterday. It really is an amazing song.

Iron Bug 04-14-2005 03:32 PM
The feedback at the end of The Truth is annoying...not good for a mix CD. Plus I use it on every mix CD I make...
Irony

Anyway, if your not gonna use The Truth, use Miles To Go.

Let's Chop Cats! 04-14-2005 03:33 PM

Left Your Mark

Do ittttt.

A-Life-Less-Plagued 04-14-2005 03:45 PM

I'm not using any of your gay suggestions, it's the Decline or Every Word.

NewKindofArmy03 04-14-2005 03:46 PM

The Decline is one of the few songs by them I find myself listening to a lot. I'm not the biggest Champion fan.

Let's Chop Cats! 04-14-2005 03:46 PM

'Left Your Mark' or your banned.

A-Life-Less-Plagued 04-14-2005 03:48 PM

oh noes!

SubtleDagger 04-14-2005 04:11 PM
I think he'd like "Silhouette" though, as it's one of the heaviest on the album. I finally really learned to appreciate "Melting Point Of Wax" yesterday. It really is an amazing song.
"Silhouette" isn't that heavy. It's boring actually. "Abolition Of Man" and "Paper Tigers" are heavy.

And "Melting Point" is my least favorite song on the album.

Gnarmageddon 04-14-2005 04:16 PM
"Silhouette" is too generic. "Hoods On Peregrine" owns it.
'Hoods on Peregrine' is my favorite song on the album. The drums in the beginning and the bass riffs are what make it so great.

cbmartinez 04-14-2005 04:17 PM

I never used to like it because I prefer the heavier ones like "Paper Tigers" and "Cold Cash And Colder Hearts" but it really is a really nice song. I love the lead in the beginning. I actually think "All That's Left" is pretty cool and the bridge of "Stare At The Sun" is pretty cool. I used to call "The Abolotion Of Man" one of my favorite tracks, but I don't think it's that great. "Under A Killing Moon" bores me also. I love the way the CD ends though.

Gnarmageddon 04-14-2005 04:18 PM

Stare at the Sun has one of the coolest bass parts I've ever heard.

cbmartinez 04-14-2005 04:21 PM

I'm listening to "Hoods On Peregrine." I love the bass riff and the "you think they're selling you truth" part is one of my favorite parts on the album.

young, loud and andrew 04-14-2005 04:21 PM

My favorite songs on TAITA are "Don't Tell," "Abolition," and "Blood Clots."

CONNER_NWHC 04-14-2005 04:34 PM

Sweet, I got my licence.

oopyman 04-14-2005 04:34 PM

Sweet, I got my **** from interpunk.

A-Life-Less-Plagued 04-14-2005 04:36 PM

What did you get?

A-Life-Less-Plagued 04-14-2005 04:36 PM

'There is a Black Hole...' or 'Your Arsonist'?

oopyman 04-14-2005 04:37 PM
Ahahahahahah sicckkkkk!

Since my car broke down my parents decided that I need something more reliable...sooo they're gonna get my car fixed tomorrow and this weekend we're going down to Carlsbad to a Toyota dealership and seeing if they still have a Scion XB that I want there. If not we'll get whatever else they have.
I lived in Carlsbad for most of my life. Memories, man.

Let's Chop Cats! 04-14-2005 04:37 PM

Your Arsonist.

oopyman 04-14-2005 04:39 PM
What did you get?
Wake the Dead (finally) and a Bane shirt.

A-Life-Less-Plagued 04-14-2005 04:40 PM

I still haven't got Wake The Dead. I'll get it in May when CBK come around again. I'm not going to the one this month.

CONNER_NWHC 04-14-2005 04:40 PM

I picked up WTD at HMV

A-Life-Less-Plagued 04-14-2005 04:41 PM

They'll probably have vinyl with them on tour.

Let's Chop Cats! 04-14-2005 04:42 PM

I'm totally owning kids in poker.
