Searching for good Australian music is like going shopping at a Chinese fish market.

A lot of dead stuff that smells like [size=2]****[/size], and maybe some good stuff to have every once and awhile.

I didn't specially search for Australian music, why the hell would I do that. I found a good melodic death metal band and found out they were australian

It's a decent album.
Not on my top 10 by any means.

It probably just fits in my top 100.

You can't say its best metalcore album though.

Horizons is better in my opinion but both are mediocre.
Not terrible like iamtherobots puts it but nothing terribly above average.

They do put on a good show unlike their broken up older brother band who happen to be much more scene when this little brother band strives to be tough.

ABR is one of my favorite bands.

I think Horizons was pretty weak save for a few songs.

"Breaking Point" is far better than anything they've ever done.

Killing With a Smile is better and its below average, Horizons is crap.

August Burns Red was one of my first metalcore bands I listened to and its one of my favs. But now its getting overshadows by stuff I got into the past few months, Converge, Botch, Architects, 7A7P, skycamefalling, etc. But still ABR isn't bad, I still think its quite good... just guilty pleasure
