1. Buddyhead is terrible

It's about 80 here, the weather was perfect today.

That's terrible, sorry but it is.
It might sound alright if there was a better recording, but I don't know. I can't hear drums at all either. Also, my tape recorder would sound better then whatever you used.
Time to clean and hit the jacuzzi!

Nothing that came out after 1975, I can tell you that much. |

I've seen Death Before Dishonor and Ramallah. They're both pretty good live.
best part?
The Showdown are playing across the street the same night. |
Ramallah's highlight was the new song Kill a Celeberity. For Death Before Dishonor, the pile ons during True Til Death were cool.
So... I just realized Stay Gold covers "Thursday" by Turning Point at the end of Pills and Advice. That's cool. I want to buy the Turning Point discography soon...
Turning Point 1988-1991 is really good. I recommend it.
Good disc. Sinking Ships covered Turning Point when I saw them.
Reiner, tab some Death By Stereo.

On my birthday too. Hmm. |
I bet the Special Guest is The Showdown!
That would seal the deal. I would be there.

Yes.
Have you guys heard The Twilight Collective? They're ex-Shai Halud.

Aren't they just a local band right now? I've seen them on a few shows around here. |
Almost had a run-in with Johnny Law last night, party got busted. Some lady was writing down license plates as we were all getting out of there.
They actually break up parties in the US?
Yea all the time. They check for drugs. Its mostly because nosey b'itchy *** neighbors complain about cars and the noise.
That never really happens here, although if you make loads of noise then the police can come but they generally have better things to do in London at night.
I almost went to jail yesterday because a friend I was with stole the suggestion box from Subway. I smarted off to the cop and he was like, "Ok, you can spend a night in my jail". But then I didn't.
I almost got into 2 fights yesterday. Most unposi day ever.
It was a party at a private river in a neighborhood none of us lived in. A friend showed up and said that there was a lady up by the road saying the cops were coming and we'd all be arrested, so we all got in a cars and scrammed. There was a line of about 20 cars, and as we pulled out there were all these ladies trying to write down our license plates. A couple people got pulled over but me and a couple of friends found our way out of the neighborhood somehow and got out.
