yeah sometimes my kids have really bad ideas and they think they're awesome and won't let go of them.

like today i walked in to my work on my way home, and one kid had his dog in there, and i was all "umm you can't have your dog in here. this place isn't for animals." and he's all "well ya maybe we can like have a night where i bring him in and anyone who wants to come on that night has to sign a form saying this place isn't liable for anything that happens with the dog" and in my head i was thinking 1) that's a stupid idea, nobody wants to pet your dog for a whole night, 2) it kind of defeats the point of a drop-in centre if everyone who drops in that night has to bring a form home to their parents and then come back, 3) this dog isn't trained, and all our floors are carpeted.

Friend of mine kind of wanted to stay up all night, and by the time I was going to go to bed anyway, it was too late.
Like, y'know how when you go to bed waaay too late, and you wake up early and you're more tired than you would've been if you had just stayed awake?
Well, we walked to Schnuck's at 5 am, meandered around, played a lot of GTA 4..and how it's 1/2 an hour before I'd usually wake up anyway, and I have to take a final at 10.

But I'm really not tired.

Or hungry, which is a shame, 'cause I have cold pizza for breakfast.
