Yeah, but not much, but what I have heard I have liked.

What album would most likely get me into them more?

And I already like Jurassic 5, so no need to suggest them.

Illmatic 06-27-2005 01:04 AM
Hah, Ray, you're whipped. Poor you.
I'm only whipped on this particular issue...she doesn't really boss me around all that much.

Bobo: try the albums Things Fall Apart, Phrenology, and Do You Want More?!!!?!

Drugstep 06-27-2005 01:07 AM

I have a bit too much facial hair for my age. It's wierd. And too much hair in other places. I'll leave that to your imagination.

My Nu-Metal etcetera thread went well.

I ate at Arby's the day I bought my first electric guitar.

Steerpike 06-27-2005 01:16 AM

My younger brother is trying to grow facial hair, but it's not very even and not very full. He wants a beard because he hates the fact that he has a very boyish, almost angelic face.

Tell him that.

Funny thing is, it seems more women like the boyish look than the Byronesque look.

I've always had a thing for Asians... And Latinas... And Swedes, Goths, Catholic schoolgirls, Italians, Spaniards, Indians, Eastern Europeans, (keeps babbling on)...

Illmatic 06-27-2005 01:28 AM

I don't like Goths all that much...not only do they seem too snobby/high-maintenence, but I like a girl with some skin tone. But that's just me.

Drugstep 06-27-2005 01:28 AM

Depends on which one you meet. But you have to admit, the spooky chicks do have a certain allure...

I better end that train of thought before the blood drains out of my head.

Drugstep 06-27-2005 01:32 AM

Gothic as in what the average teenager calls Gothic, (listening to slipknot and wearing black) are definately hot. As for real gothic, no.

Ew, no. Those girls make me wonder if I can catch a venereal disease from eye contact.

I've met real goths who are exceptionally hot.

o_O

What in the name of God are you blathering about? What on earth is a "bodice"?

But hey, different strokes for different folks. I guess I prefer girls who are a little more...well-adjusted.

NJMetalMeister 06-27-2005 01:42 AM
What about season eight?
I didnt mind season 8 of red dwarf. It wasnt the best, but much better than 7, plus it had the return of Rimmer and Holly who are the best two characters on the show. And episode 805-krytie TV is just hilarious in my opinioni.
*Fuddruckers.

There's a few of those near me. Not really redneck. It was more
1950's - 60's Americana themed if anything.

They make a pretty good burger. You can make you're own; you know, put your own lettuce, tomato, onion, mustards, **** like that. They have some weird burgers. They have an ostrich burger and a buffalo burger. They also have a 1 lb. burger, which is effing huge.
I worked at a Fuddruckers for a better part of 3 years, with the first 6 months being a busboy/dishwasher, then moving to cook/baker/butcher. Although that particular fuddruckers was sold off, there are still a few in NJ, but none can compare to the one that was there in my hometown. I dont know if we were just better cooks, or got higher grade meat, but the food was definitely a lot better at ours. People would drive from 2 hours away just to come there, even if there were two or more fuddruckers nearer to them.

Now if you guys want to hear hilarious fuddrucker stories, i could go on for hours and hours, just let me know

Oh and also the 1 pound burger, while a lot, has been outdone by many of the fuddruckers staff. On slow nights we would see how much we could eat, and one kid managed to down 2 and a half pounds of burger meat.

I also saw one extremely large woman come in, order 3 one pound burgers, 3 orders of fries, a basket of onion rings, a baked potato, and buffalo wings just for herself. I also happened to notice she was drinking Diet Coke, like that was going to help her case. To follow it up, she did need 2 chairs under her to sit down.
I've always had a thing for Asians... And Latinas... And Swedes, Goths, Catholic schoolgirls, Italians, Spaniards, Indians, Eastern Europeans, (keeps babbling on)...
yeah im the same way, i like to follow the andrew dice clay philosophy on women: "All it takes is two tits a hole and a heartbeat"

and goth girls come in two varieties: disgustingly overly large pieces of crap, and the hottest women on the planet.

Victorian period garb.

I think being with a well-adjusted woman wouldn't be a healthy relationship. I need to be with a girl who's every bit as crazy as I am. It's probably the only way she'd ever put up with me in the long run.

Like I said, different strokes for different folks. My girl is laid-back, open-minded, and pretty normal...that's what I've been looking for.

Drugstep 06-27-2005 01:48 AM

*sighs* At 15 I can honestly say I've never had a girlfriend. I definately intend to get one next year though.

NJMetalMeister 06-27-2005 02:06 AM

The advantage of having girlfriends at the age of 15 is that they are usually pretty short relationships, which can be nice, because for example, i just got out of a 2 year relationship about 6 months ago and the girl had gone total psycho on me. I never had that problem when i was 15 and going out with girls for only like 3 weeks at a time.

Jesus fucking haploid Christ. The people in the "Songs you would play for a girl..." are so god damn dense. Women don't think the same as men. Is it really that difficult a concept to understand?

The frustrating part is that I get it. They don't. Why the hell am I still single?

NJMetalMeister 06-27-2005 02:29 AM

That is how life always works out. You are better at something, or more knowledgeable about something than other people, yet they luck out and benefit.

however dont knock the single life, while relationships can be fun, being single can also be quite fun as well

Steerpike 06-27-2005 02:33 AM

Well, I haven't completely run out of things to do yet, at least.

vocman 06-27-2005 02:34 AM

A woman has a close male friend. This means that he is probably interested in her, which is why he hangs around so much. She sees him strictly as a friend. This always starts out with, you're a great guy, but I don't like you in that way. This is roughly the equivalent for the guy of going to a job interview and the company saying, You have a great resume, you have all the qualifications we are looking for, but we're not going to hire you. We will, however, use your resume as the basis for comparison for all other applicants. But, we're going to hire somebody who is far less qualified and is probably an alcoholic. And if he doesn't work out, we'll hire somebody else, but still not you. In fact, we will never hire you. But we will call you from time to time to complain about the person that we hired.

NJMetalMeister 06-27-2005 02:36 AM

alright well on a less depressing topic, i have a question for my fellow americans. Was there not a new episode of American Dad on last night? Every monday i have been downloading the new family guy and am dad because well they dont show them here in germany haha, and i found last nights family guy no problem, but i couldnt find american dad.

Cool. I thought Season 8 was rather a return to form too. Especially as it contains one of the greatest single scenes in all of Red Dwarf - the cell inspection after Rimmer and Lister have had to down Baxter's hooch.

I'm still yet to get Season 6 on DVD.

NJMetalMeister 06-27-2005 04:47 AM

Hahaha yeah, and another great thing about that episode that i didnt get til i came to europe was when the inspector is like "Who fancies a Kebab?" beacuse in the US we dont have döner kebabs at all, so i thought he had meant a shish-kebab which is very very different, and quite frankly when i get the drunchies i would not want to go through the effort of making one of those.

Now that ive been living in europe i realize how vital the döner kebab stand is to drunken college students. They are probably the one thing im going to miss the most when i return home.
