BTW: I love your idea for us to all be in a house together, ATM. That sounds hysterical. I wonder what I would be doing?
You'd probably be in your room recording music. ;)

Real world: Mx Edition.

Me: Turn that Devil's Music Down!
*Any metal head*: Shutup you dirty hippie!

Wow internet.

ATM 06-12-2005 03:36 PM

I was converted to the dark side. Blame Bobo.

I was just teasing him.

He hates Aesop, but I like him. I didn't at first, but he grew on me.

Hmm, seems I missed some things, I thought he was just making up stories as usual, I didn't know he called her.

you've been gone for some time have you not

jpj 06-12-2005 03:45 PM

I still don't think people should be making such a big deal out of CG. He kind of crossed the line if he was asking her personal questions, but other than that, meh.

Cain 06-12-2005 03:45 PM
You'd probably be in your room recording music. ;)
 Yeah, probably. I'd be no fun. If I were on the Real World, my entire shtick would be that I'd be practicing guitar while everyone else got drunk on the strip. And then when every other girl in the house realized what assholes the other guys were, they'd come to me and I would have an earth-shattering orgy with every one of them. End of show. ;)

I don't really understand why the user got banned if the phone number was in the users AIM, I understand permission to ring that number should really be asked before taking such action, but personally I think that it was outside of MX's Power...

Its possible the Mod that banned the user for 10 days was looking for any excuse to ban the little jerk though, so hoarahh for the mods

It was NCP that banned him. I don't doubt that he would ban a user for invading another user's privacy via the internet.

Yes, I agree. MX would not be responsible in any way for a user sharing their Phone number via AIM, It was probably for countless reasons, I mean. If he is spending his time phoning complete strangers he probably is a little dumb

ATM 06-12-2005 03:59 PM

I haven't seen a user of the month award thread, yet, Vince. Is that defunct for the time being?

Has anyone else noticed that the higher you get in postcount, the easier it is to go even higher? I must've been below 1,000 posts until February, and now I've gained 3,000 more in less than four months.

Aesop is awesome and Joe is pissed off big style.

So i go to this gig tonight to play drums, i have all my kit, its all good and we start playing. The house 'bass drum' (use that term losely) had a ring so thin that my DW 5000 series pedal wouldnt clamp to it. Thats right, one of the most expensive pedals on the market WOULDNT clamp to a bass drum.

Then, the bass drum starts moving backwards at an angle, not taking my pedal with it. At this stage, i am shit scared considering this is my first gig with this band, and i had only jammed with them once on Friday. To make matters worse, i had to go through a whole song with NO BASS DRUM. NONE. I hate house kits so much now.

 :upset:

Um, yeah.

I would never use house equipment if I could help it. Ronnie Earl had to use a house amp, an old Fender Twin, when I saw him, and while it sounded decent I think it was a bit shrill and lacking in variety of sound. His own equipment was in another city, by accident.

Put the pieces back together my way....

Dancin' Man 06-12-2005 04:04 PM

Cain - Yeah.... I think I had around 150 posts yesterday. It took me around 5 months to hit 1000 posts.

Joe - Our drummer has never used a house kit. We always asume his is better and to play it safe by bringing his along.

^Pick apart the day

My post count goes up like crazy. I don't even seem to post that much.

Arucard 06-12-2005 04:05 PM

Yes i know this, but i had been told the house kit was alright, and i couldnt bring my bass drum, let alone my kit, on the train with me.

You post regularly in a lot of different forums though. I usually restrict myself to Politics and R+M. And I usually don't find many threads of interest in either forum. The homosexuality threads of late have been quite stimulating, although Non Sequitur is pissing me off, since I'm deconstructing and destroying his arguments against homosexuality but he goes selectively deaf to the actual points and counters with the same old stuff.

I don't intend to get into a debate about this here, as I know certain people would agree with Non Sequitur, it's just that his method of debate is truly irksome.

Silent Death 06-12-2005 04:06 PM

Hey sup guys, whats up? I wen't to that Martial Arts compititon yesterday and placed 1st in a few things :thumb: was really cool. I got to meet Bill "superfoot" Wallace. Got pics with him and stuff was awsome.
