Oh sweet Jesus. I have more than tripled my music on my computer since Christmas. I'm up to 5000 files and over 400 albums. I need to stop but it's like crack. Actually, I'm past 500 albums now.

I don't have any work or anything until next Monday.

I don't want to start working again particularly, but I'm really bored at the moment.

My flatmates have either already started or have gone home to wait it out too. So they're not even here to distract me.

That particular flatmate is in the middle of her examination/assessment period at the moment (mine was only two days long, hence my free week), so the boyfriend has been told to stay away til she's done, I think.

How inoffensive does power metal want to be?

Some of it's getting to the point where it can almost be classified outside of metal. I was listening to a power metal song on my mp3 player a couple of days ago, and though it's a good song, the guitars were so bland, inoffensive and lacking in bite that I had to keep turning the colume up just to give them the illusion of an edge. Then, when the song finished, [i]Bob bloody Dylan[/i] came on and was so ear-bleedingly loud I had to turn it down quite drastically. That's how much I had to turn the bastards up.

If you listen to Angra, they have some bite to their guitars. Iced Earth do not, thats why im not too keen on them.

I'm not in a normal state of mind today. All I'm doing is counting down until the Pats game, which has me giddy as a schoolgirl.

I need better sleeping habbits as well. On weekends I go to bed at about 2:00 am, then wake up at noon.

Will be a good game, but not as good as the one on right now

I've hated the Patriots ever since they killed Pittsburgh in 2001, but I'm not sure if I'd rather have the Steelers play them or the Colts.

I'm desperately rooting for the Pats, but I honestly don't know how it's going to turn out...there are so many factors. I do think that if we beat the Colts, we can beat the Steelers, especially if they play like they did against the Jets.

The Rams lost so I don't really care who wins it now.
