Why listen to generic bands? I try to keep my metal standards high. That way I don't buy loads of generic crap and instead fully appreciate the best.

lol just happened to be listening to Out of the Body when I read that.

I heard about those guys a few months ago from the MA Pestilence page, but didn't have an interest in checking them out since they formed in 2006, and I also heard that Asphyx's last album was absolute **** so i assumed this band was not going to be so great. Maybe I will hunt the demo down.

He's pretty good on Malleus, amazing on Consuming Impulse and the Rack, although I think Patrick Mameli did a pretty great job on Testimony of the Ancients. I almost thought MVD was singing on Testimony when I first heard it.

I should probably give The Rack another listen some time...

Yeah it is! Though McGachy would totally butcher Lord Worm's material. I should get that DVD they put out recently with Lord Worm on vocals, since they played NSV in its entirety on it...

Is that the Trois-Riviers one? I had it on my computer, it was pretty solid but I dont remember them playing NSV front to back so it might be a different one. The interviews were cool even though I hate their stupid Quebecois accents.

I would buy that DVD if I ever came across it. If nothing else, to laugh at Dan Mongrain's hair like I did when I saw Martyr.
