yeah, there are some mild tendencies on "doom" but i mean, over all, jfac are pretty much textbook deathcore.
I don't really think there is any core whatsoever on Genesis. Definitely on Doom though. |
They kinda lean towards Grind on "Doom".
No traces in "Genesis."
 Ever listen to grind before? Doesn't seem like it. |
 Ever listen to grind before? Doesn't seem like it.
Yeah I definitely don't hear the grind. |
They kinda lean towards Grind on "Doom".
No traces in "Genesis."
WRONG. Job For A Cowboy sucks balls and have no grind in their sound at all. What you said was an insult to grind. |
FYI for DJTeeLay:
Grindcore, often shortened to grind, is an evolution of crust punk, most commonly associated with death metal, a very different though similarly extreme style of music. Grindcore is characterized by: heavily distorted, down-tuned guitars, with crust punk-influenced riffing; hardcore punk and thrash metal drumming, with many bands focusing on blast beats; songs rarely lasting more than two minutes and often seconds long; vocals which consist of growls and higher-pitched screams, similar to those found in black metal or hardcore punk. Lyrical concepts range from social and political issues to gore and humor. |
xGOREx not xCOREx LOL
xGOREx not xCOREx LOL
lol I don't think I even know what that means. |
They kinda lean towards Grind on "Doom".
No traces in "Genesis."
 that cracked me up. JFAC are good tho srsly. Not amazin and Genesis is a bit samey, but there solid. They just won't set the world alight imo. |
I enjoy them from time to time.
Listening to the Despised Icon/Ion Dissonance split and i have to say i really like Ion Dissonance's sound
which sound is on the split? I have their older cd and their newest cd and they are drastically different. |
the split is called demos 2002 & 2004 so i would say older
|
lol I don't think I even know what that means.
NO KARATE NO BREAKDOWNS NO COMBOVERS NO SCENE It's Cattle Decapitation's anti-xscenexcorex slogan that alot of people throw around now. |
They kinda lean towards Grind on "Doom".
No traces in "Genesis."
You obviously haven't heard grindcore. |
the split is called demos 2002 & 2004 so i would say older
Oh ok. They made some good scenegrindy stuff back then. Now they make some good chuggity chug stuff. |

|
You obviously haven't heard grindcore.
It completely escapes me why you would give Decapitated as a prime example of death metal. What the **** is wrong with you? That's the only thing I have to say in this thread, ever. Also, deathcore is ****

Well it isn't typical death metal is it
|
ion dissonance are ALWAYS worth listening to you flegs
Well it isn't typical death metal is it
Winds of Creation is pretty much straight-ahead death metal. Their other stuff not so much. |
Don't tell me about what's death metal. NO Decapitation is typical death metal. An example like Deicide or Morbid Angel would have been alright but NOT Decapitation
|
yeah buddy, don't tell him
|
Decapitated*
|
What would you consider old Through the Eyes of the Dead?
I wanna discuss their awesomeness somewhere. |
