No rush, they are worth the wait.
exactly, but i'm kind of impatient:lol:

Nostalgia 10-29-2005 04:08 PM

Yea it's a good album, why do you keep posting in that font?

Bazarov 10-29-2005 04:09 PM
No rush, they are worth the wait.
True, I don't want them to rush through this new album. I mean 5 years is a long time, but I don't want some crappy album if it takes them another year just to make sure this one is top-notch, then so be it.

i don't know

nowitzki 10-29-2005 04:12 PM

Do you think with Dave back in the band the new album will be more like the older marerial? I don't mind either way though to be honest as long as it's a good album.

Bazarov 10-29-2005 04:14 PM

I hope they try to make it more like older material. But if I remember properly in an interview with King he said that the material they're working on sounds like the last 2 albums. I'll search around and try and find it.

EDIT: Here's the interview. I was slightly wrong. JH=Hanneman (obviously)
BM: Last time I checked in with you guys you had like 10 songs for it.
J H: We have tons of ideas. We don’t have any working titles, we have dumb names that we call the songs so we know what we are talking about but we don’t have any real titles for it. We have tons of music to work with.

BM: What is it sounding like so far?
J H: To me it sound’s like the first three songs on the last record. It’s very intense and very insane.
That's mean he the songs are going to be similar to Here Comes the Pain, Warzone, and Payback. All songs I could careless for. Actually no, I thought Warzone was one of the highlights of GHUA.

Nostalgia 10-29-2005 04:43 PM

I'm kinda hoping that their newer album dosen't sound like GHUA Witch it most likely will but, I didn't really like it that much, Toms vocals kind of turned me off.

The first three songs are Disciple, God Send Death and New Faith aren't they?
Which I think is pretty good, Disciple and GSD are my two favourite songs on GHUA.

Yeah those are the first 3.

My favorite songs on GHUA:
Disciple
God Send Death
Bloodline
Warzone

I think the rest of the songs are so-so.

Nostalgia 10-29-2005 05:14 PM

I was at FYE today (a music store) and I looked in the slayer section and they had this strung instrument tribut to slayer it was awesome, they did south of heaven on violins.

I found a cool, old, but still cool interview with slayer. It has live clips as well.

metalmilitia101 10-30-2005 09:00 PM

:upset: didnt work for me

Britton 10-30-2005 09:29 PM

Hmm me neither

Go there and click the link about "Tattoo the Planet"

Nostalgia 10-30-2005 10:30 PM

Was that from still reigning because that's the same shirt that Jeff was wearing, on still reigning....Man what else if their to say about slayer, lol.

Britton 10-30-2005 10:48 PM

That's the best interview I've heard of Kerry

Bazarov 10-30-2005 10:51 PM

Yeah Kerry was actually pretty cool, in that interview. When it said Craddle of Shit, I was expecting him to just start bashing them.

Britton 10-30-2005 10:56 PM

Yea so was I

Was that him on a good day?

metalmilitia101 10-30-2005 10:57 PM

i don't know, i think he is a pretty cool guy, but he has his moments, and his moments are what he is stereotyped for.

Britton 10-30-2005 10:59 PM

Yea when you are in the spot light like him you tend to get a bad rep
for the slightest misconseptions

metalmilitia101 10-30-2005 11:01 PM

yeah, that's true, and plus with the media as ghey as it is nowadays, that's all they are looking for. i bet kerry is an awesome guy. i mean, how many of us havent had our act like a bastard moments?

Britton 10-30-2005 11:02 PM

Me.../shifts eyes back and forth

yep I've heard in this very thread from people that clame to havemet him that
he's a awsome man. So there you have it

Nostalgia 10-30-2005 11:08 PM

KERRY KING: half jackass half cool guy

metalmilitia101 10-30-2005 11:10 PM

probably the most accurate description we'll get lol

Again to each his own, but I loved payback and Disciple more than the rest of the album.

TheSlayer 10-31-2005 02:34 PM
i don't know, i think he is a pretty cool guy, but he has his moments, and his moments are what he is stereotyped for.
Yeah I think he's a funny guy (in the interviews I've read) but I don't like it when he gets abit arrogant (Slayer are better than EVERYONE else no question) and I don't like it when he slags mettalica off.

metalmilitia101 10-31-2005 03:29 PM

oh yeah, that gets on my nerves too. metallica is not to be fooled with lol.

lightningmetal666 10-31-2005 05:49 PM

Kerry kinda annoys me with all of the endorsements that he does. I couldn't help but laugh when I saw him endorsing that metal master guitar pack that had crap like wristbands and whatever else in it. I think at times he feels like he is a better guitarist than he really is.

Amen to that. I'm glad someone agrees with me.
