oic, cool

yeah it would

CYTAGYE wasn't that good IMO. Some funny parts though.
When I was 12 I thought it was awsome. I got to see boobies. Haha.

Now I've matured and I've realised that they are called 'breasts'.

So, now I get to see breasts. Haha!

TheBassicBassist 03-19-2006 02:14 PM

okay basically, Happy Live Surprise and Go Chuck Yourself are the exact same album, but HLS has a live dvd too, GCY doesn't...and also, I just got the Congo documentary on dvd and it's awesome, I love seeing the guys do something other than play music

Aw, dammit!

Is the Congo video all serious?
Aw, dammit!

Yeah it is. I watched it on TV before. We also got to watch it in one of my classes. They see how people live and how crappy it is. I could tell you more, but I don't want to spoil it for you.:p

DJ Ducksauce 03-19-2006 02:38 PM

Bah, I don't like serious vids that much. :( I want videos like the Kelly's Pizza Robbery one. That was great. Or the Water gun. Good times.

!MuDvAyNiAn! 03-19-2006 04:18 PM

i have all the sum41 albums and i absolutely love them!! imo they arnt really pop punk but not totaly true punk either... i think dave needs to show off a bit more because i no he is a great guitarist but it just isnt really showed that well. And this also makes him seem less good so people dopnt really no hwo good he is. Dereks voice is the best voice ever! even tho live he isnt the best of singers but a bet u could never find sum1 with that kind of voice. and have u noticed that they are maturin and dereks voice is gettin better live?:)

DJ Ducksauce 03-19-2006 04:20 PM

Yeah, Derek's voice has definately improved tons. Especially live.

!MuDvAyNiAn! 03-19-2006 04:27 PM

true. i downloaded a video recently of them doing "pieces" live and his voice was actually really good and i was so surprised... sounds good

B 03-19-2006 05:30 PM

They are pop-punk.

himynameistweek 03-19-2006 07:02 PM

i don't consider their last two albums pop-punk, i think it's more of just straight forward rock.

!MuDvAyNiAn! 03-20-2006 11:44 AM

ye theyre startin to get heavier through each album. I'd say rock/pop-punk

poo-poo-pee-pee 03-23-2006 06:58 PM

I call them 'Sum 41'. I really don't like the whole genre thing. It's not what genre you like, it's what bands/singers you like. Well, that is just my opinion, each to his (or her) own.

B 03-23-2006 07:34 PM

Actually it is genres. How do you think people find or recommend music? "Oh I like a lot of post-rock stuff" "Oh ok, try some Explosions In The Sky"

It's much easier than just trying random bands :-\

form 03-23-2006 07:37 PM

Genres are too hard.

Someone asked me "Whats As I Lay Dying" and I don't know anything about genres so I was like, Umm, hardcore.

lol I'm a douche.

Anyway, I have been listening to Sum41 nonstop lately, Fat Lip, I forgot how much I love that song...

poo-poo-pee-pee 03-23-2006 11:02 PM

Fat Lip was the first Sum 41 song I ever heard. It was ****in' awsome! Well, it still is. It was the only song I knew when I bought AKNF, I was just hoping the the other songs would be as good. I wasn't disapointed.

!MuDvAyNiAn! 03-24-2006 05:20 PM

i dont really think fat lips that good.. neither are others such as into deep etc.. there best album IMO is probably does this look infected or chuck

I like AKNF the best, I love all the songs on that album...

I haven't listened to Chuck since it came out, and DTLI is great, but

AKNF>DTLI

!MuDvAyNiAn! 03-24-2006 05:59 PM

u should have a listen to chuck then, pretty good, DTLI is prob my overall favourite, amazing album

form 03-24-2006 06:05 PM

Yes I can't find it though, I tend to lose cds easily :-/

But I remember No Reason being my favorite song on the album...

I will get it back soon though, hopefully.

!MuDvAyNiAn! 03-24-2006 06:19 PM

thats my favourite from the album as well! well one of them.. do u have a favourite sum 41 song? from any album

form 03-24-2006 06:26 PM

Right now, Fat Lip. Basically because I just remember being back before I moved, me and my friends would sing it/record it play it on guitar, and just cause its such a sweet song. I love the lyrics too, they are

But of all time, these are definetly my top songs my Sum 41, along with Fat Lip

Heart Attack
No Reason
No Brains

Also, I love all the songs on AKNF, and there are probably a couple that should be included in that small list from Chuck, but its been a long time since my last listen, so...

edit: g2g, later...

!MuDvAyNiAn! 03-24-2006 06:40 PM

no brains!! i love that song. handle this is one of my favourites of all time, amazing song!

poo-poo-pee-pee 03-24-2006 07:55 PM

My favourite, at the moment, is probably Pieces live. I love the piano in it, it's so different to all there other stuff, but a welcome change. Especially when they played it with an orchesra backing them up, can't remeber when or where it was, but it was awsome!

!MuDvAyNiAn! 03-24-2006 07:56 PM

where did u see that?? id love to watch that

poo-poo-pee-pee 03-24-2006 10:20 PM

I just got it off Limewire. You could porbably get it off Bearshare of Kazaa aswell if you've got any of those.

DJ Ducksauce 03-24-2006 10:22 PM

Wow, that sounds nice. I love Pieces. That and 88 are my favorite songs off of Chuck.

poo-poo-pee-pee 03-24-2006 10:53 PM

When I first heard 88, I was on a plane, so it was an awsome atmosphere. I got a shiver down my spine when the chorus kicked in. Serously, I got wet... It was ****in' awsome!

yourstruly 03-25-2006 02:08 AM

i'm downloading 88 right now, i'm kinda excited after the guy above mes post.

poo-poo-pee-pee 03-25-2006 04:28 AM

Haha, it's not quite as good as I descbibed it. Just the asmosphere of flying, and lisining to it through awsome headphones was cool... haha.

Its a really good album aswell, Sum 41=New Favorite Band :chug:

DJ Ducksauce 03-26-2006 04:35 PM

I don't like chuck as a whole so much. Just bits and pieces.

form 03-26-2006 04:36 PM

I haven't listened to it since its release, and I just found it, and I am very pleased with it, a lot of the songs are very good IMO...

DJ Ducksauce 03-26-2006 04:38 PM

It's decent, but I didn't love it like I did DTLI and AKNF and HHoP

form 03-26-2006 04:39 PM

HHOP I forgot about that album, I plan on getting in soon.

I think AKNK is my fav album overall, but I am not sure...

edit: Wow, The Bitter Ends music off of Chuck, reminds me so much of SOAD

!MuDvAyNiAn! 03-27-2006 10:43 AM

lol its a wee tiny bit like soad i suppose. i learned to play the bitter end on guitar as soon as i heard it, good song.

Jessizzle 03-27-2006 01:25 PM
just type "Sum 41", I guarentee you'll find it
