Yeah, it just dosn't work in any way. I download, it saves, then nothing. I can open the folder and stuff, but other than that, nothing.

Agent_Orange 10-27-2005 06:36 AM

Yeah, when I got home I tryed again it downloaded quick on my notebook but then just wouldn't work.

chumpradio 10-29-2005 04:08 PM

Right, in early December, Crimson is going to be re-released in a deluxe edition.
The extra disc will feature demos/acoustic versions of all the songs.

I think this is a bit weird, seeing as I'm sure that I've read Derek say how they don't like fans to hear demos, because they are unfinished work. I know that the band (Derek especially) hate having their rare stuff traded on forums anyway, and I'm sure he dislikes people hearing demos.

EDIT : Their cover of TSOL's Wash Away is great, I only just downloaded it.

Thats not true, its non-Blood Pact members they don't like to hear rares stuff and demo's. I think the reissue of the album has more to do with Vagrant Records than the band themselves.

There was a bulletin about this on the Blood Pact site.

HitHardDrums55 10-30-2005 12:59 PM

are there anymore crimson b-sides other than dont say you wont and we can never break up?

Bad Blood 10-30-2005 01:38 PM
are there anymore crimson b-sides other than dont say you wont and we can never break up?
I haven't heard 'Don't say you won't'. Is it good?

chumpradio 10-30-2005 02:11 PM

On Mercy Me, a track entitled Buried is the B-side.
I haven't got it yet though. :(

HitHardDrums55 10-30-2005 02:11 PM

yeah it's very good...imo it's better than "we can never break up"...if you dig the cure you will definately like "don't say you won't" cause its like their music except faster, and with alk3 singing...im pretty sure all 3 of them sing at least one part in the song...havent listened to it in a while, but if i remember correctly dan sings it and theres a part where him and derek sing...im sure matt has some vocals in there somewhere
I haven't heard 'Don't say you won't'. Is it good?
Sure funking is! Reminds me so much of the Cure...

And who was that nobsack complaining about the Trio not playing Radio live? Radio is such an overrated Trio song.

Bad Blood 10-31-2005 11:16 AM

I've just downloaded it.

It's fucking awesome!

punkerdan 10-31-2005 06:52 PM

I ****ing love the alkaline trio
i think my fave cds are goddamnit, and from here to the infirmery
my fave songs are like
pretty much all of goddamnit
stupid kid
cooking wine
take lots with alcohol
radio
crawl
mr chainsaw
they pretty much rule

i posted a thread about how i was kinda disappointed with their set list, but it got closed immediately cuzza this this thread and how its the only place your allowed to post alk3 business

i dunno, everyone talked to me like i was stupid, but i just thought there was way too much new songs, and just not enough classics, they put on a real good show, rocked real hard, but i was really looking to hear a couple more songs off from here to the infirmery or something, like i really wanted to see radio, crawl, or cooking wine, just like everyone else screaming titles for no reason, i dunno, they rocked real hard, i just wished their set list was a lil different

HitHardDrums55 10-31-2005 09:31 PM

they cant play radio every night, they play it a lot...every gig ive seen them play on video, ive seen radio footage of the same show, and over summer when i saw them they played it...not that big of a deal...its calms down the crowd a bit and gets you anxious for something fast i guess...gives you a break lets u catch your breath...im glad they ended w/ blue in the face/97 mix though it was really sick

Oz Rembrandt 11-01-2005 09:18 AM

My Ideal Trio Setlist would have to be-

1. Time To Waste.
2. Madam Me
3. The Metro
4. I Lied My Face Off
5. Mercy Me
6. Nose Over Tail
7. **** You Aroura
8. This is Getting Over You
9. Mr. Chainsaw
10. This Could Be Love
11. Private Eye
12. Trouble Breathing
13. Back to Hell
14. If You Had a Bad Time
15. Jaked on Green Beers
16. Armageddon
17. I'm Dying Tomorrow
18. Every Thug Needs a Lady
19. All On Black
20. Dead End Road
21. Sadie
22. Hell Yes

Thats unlikley though...

Punkerdan, did you give Matt the middle finger at all?

Pazz 11-12-2005 07:05 PM

This is only a nine day bump. This is the official, so I figured it would be alright.

I have never seen Alkaline trio live before and I wouldn't mind seeing them. I should look into a tour to see if they pass through Canada.

lunchforthesky 11-12-2005 07:06 PM

whos supporting them in the uk

Matt's voice isn't the greatest live...but they are fantastic otherwise.

Pazz 11-12-2005 07:15 PM

Well, just the thought of going to see them in concert would probably make me happy. I've never been to a concert(going to my first one in December) but Alk3 is definately one of the many bands I want to go see.

HitHardDrums55 11-12-2005 07:29 PM

i like matt's voice live...no problem with it...sometimes he just lets the crowd sing...

and pazz: concerts are fun man, you'll love it

Pazz 11-12-2005 07:35 PM

I'm excited for the From First To Last concert December I'm going to. I'm just going to look now to see if Alkaline Trio is coming to Canada any time soon.

Flex of the Yellow 11-12-2005 08:47 PM
