WHAAAAAA?! You have Risk and Cryptic writings, but not KIMBABIG?! GRRRRRR.... |
WHAAAAAA?! You have Risk and Cryptic writings, but not KIMBABIG?! GRRRRRR....
What's wrong with that? |
id rather have risk then killing is my business but i have em both so i cant say that so i guess i prefer risk to kiling is my business
|
What's wrong with that?
Well, and mind you, this is just me thinking out loud here, but no Megadeth collection is complete without KIMBABIG, whilst the utter crap that is Risk and Cryptic Writings doesn't belong anywhere near a metal/rock collection (hell, even Mustaine will tell you that) |
cryptic writings is an amazing album and risk is wel beter than it
|
Poland wasn't even in the band when Holy Wars was recorded.
The demo version of Holy Wars on the remastered Rust In Peace has Chris Poland |

Ever consider the possibilty that risk and cryptic writings aren't crap? and that maybe you just don't like them? |
risk was an amazing album breadline kicked *** insomnia kicked *** crush em was class load of good songso n it that nobody ever cares about cos they think megadeth is al about peace sells and rust in peace

Dave Mustaine himself said that he liked Risk... |

Mustaine plays Trust at every show, so it can't all be crap. Granted, KIMB > CW, but CW has some good songs... Trust and She Wolf for instance. Never listened to Risk. |
LLLLLLLLLLLOL. Sarcasm is for girls
|
I very much doubt those 2 albums are better then KIMB...ABIG
I don't think anyone said they were. |
Dave Mustaine himself said that he liked Risk...
when???? i heard that he hated it, and the producer he had at the time kinda forced them to take that type of direction. apparently risk was going to be what the world needs a hero was - starting to go back to real megadeth - metal \m/ |

CW has a lot of great song writing, people just don't realize. Trust, Mastermind, Sin, Secret place, Vortex, there's a lot of good sounds on that album. |
my father took drum lessons from megadeths former drummer jimmy del grasso, down the street at san jose pro drum,i was shocked my dad told me.

their a good band, but their basically Metallica 2
over and out jolliffe |
Ever consider the possibilty that risk and cryptic writings aren't crap?
and that maybe you just don't like them?
Like I said - my opinion... And Dave's of course And if you don't trust me, you should read the statement he issued during the production of TSHF |
really? i thought it kicked *** when i heard it.
maybe it's just me because I didn't have cryptic writings before the gig so I hadn't heard it so my memory of it isn't as good as the other songs |
Like I said - my opinion... And Dave's of course
And if you don't trust me, you should read the statement he issued during the production of TSHF
My first thought is that he was just saying that to support teh new 'Metal' sound the 'Deth picked back up. |

It's good you've joined :) |
cryptic wrightings was my first megadeath album. and i loved it so i went out and bought countdown to extinktion and was disappointed. but never really listened to the others
|
I think Cryptic Writings will probably be my next 'Deth album (since Youthanasia seems to have temporarily disappeared).
I downloaded a fair few of the songs - damn they're catchy. Even if they're not especially Metal. Would I be right in comparing this to Load/Reload? |

Dissappointed in Countdown? Really? |

(but I still don't really like the album) |

Apparently after Dave recorded that song, he went out and threw up all over the parking lot, because he realised he had finally crossed the line. That said, i still like it, even though it's about hockey  |
