I actually just wanted to subscribe because I wanted to get back into this kinda stuff (and house and other kinds of electronic stuff). I grew up around it (sister listened to the fluffy stuff in the 90s and my dad's roommate was a DJ) but it's been a while since I listened to it.

Read what you said about Skrillex's house tracks with dubstep influences, and then look at the artists I mentioned - house acts who fairly recently started to incorporate dubstep flavours into their songs. No one is confused. Also, don't mention the term fidget house in front of Deviant, he gets angry.
