I was at the garage the other day and A woman [could be any woman on the planet] came in and asked for a seven-hundred-ten. The mechanics all looked at each other, and one asked,

"What is a seven-hundred-ten?"

She replied, "You know, the little piece in the middle of the engine. I lost it and need a new one. It had always been there."

The mechanic gave the woman a piece of paper and a pen and asked her to draw what the piece looked like.

She drew a circle and in the middle of it wrote 710. He then took her over to another car, which had the bonnet up and asked,

"Is there a 710 on this car?"

She pointed and said, "Of course, its right there."

So those of you who do, What kind of shaving products do you use(brands and accesories)? Do you dread it? Do you always cut yourself up? Do you just let it run wild? Just curious to see what people from different parts of the world use. :thumb:

DrumIntoTheNight 03-18-2007 11:24 AM

Wilkinson Sword Quattro ftw.

Jezen 03-18-2007 12:13 PM

I just wanna see you bust out on the kit plz.

Oh and I met Bill Bruford and Jack DeJohnette. Bill Bruford was alright. Jack was really great but the thing with the mallets and his exotic scale of resonating bells is a bit gimmicky IMO.

Stickman Sam 03-18-2007 12:16 PM

I'll do a short solo, it won't be good, because I'm not good, but just for you ;)

EDIT:
Oh and I met Bill Bruford and Jack DeJohnette.
Is that really something you can say casually?!? Must've been awesome.

Jezen 03-18-2007 12:20 PM

Well yeah amazing as they are, they are still just people.

The worst thing is with Hollywood. All those "A-List Stars".. They are just people too.

So I finally got the new drumset. Pics coming soon. It sounds AMAZING, I mean, absurdly so. The 18" floor rattles the walls, I swear. The smaller toms are filled with clarity, and the kick drums give the perfect cannon sound I prefer. All I need now is a second kick pedal so I can actually use the second kick...and also a hihat/ bass drum clamp.

Jezen 03-18-2007 12:41 PM

I saw EST last night too. They were amazing, but I wished they would have played Brewery of Beggars.

Branford Marsalis is playing here tonight with Jeff 'Tain' Watts and Jack DeJohnette on piano.

maniac0796 03-18-2007 12:44 PM

What kit did you get TTTSNB
