Eh, it's being kicked up a notch. No doubt my mood plays a part as well in noticing it, but especially in pop-punk it's almost a war right now, and it's just frustrating because I support the efforts, but at the same time I want it to remain fun, and too many people are polarizing the two.
Well I was just thinking around the fact that you're still really a new member. Not brand new, and you've been here long enough to be a "proper" member, but although you have 10,000 posts, you've still only been here just over half a year. Maybe it's just that your initial 'fascination' (which undoubtedly puts kind of a rosy sheen on everything) with the place is wearing off somewhat :)

The influx of work you've had recently can't be helping, though.

ATM 04-12-2005 12:53 PM

Now I am too intimidated to post. :/

Bartender 04-12-2005 12:55 PM

Why?

IAJP 04-12-2005 12:55 PM
You are absolutely correct IAJP
Thanks.
Surely, by pure logic alone, if we all try, that's TRY, at least, to make more productive posts then surely the forum will improve?
Only just then after re-reading your "Make R&M a better place, thread", I was inspired to create a thread about a band I liked.
But not in the old "Do you like these guys" sense, a little inspiration is all anyone needs, heh :p

Eh, That's somewhat true, and I've been in R&M less time too. I have to say I think it is a combination of both though. No, my workload is not helping though, that's for sure.

Jelle: Quiet you. :)

I did understand that correctly and it was a complement?

Is anyone else's MSN down?

It should be a compliment to! A very good thread there, I read it through a couple of times myself, I am inspired..

And yes, my MSN is down also

(From Bartenders post a few posts back)

I have only been here for two months, according to this username....

Agitator01 04-12-2005 01:15 PM

But believe it or not, I have been here longer than quite alot of people think. I just rarely posted because my 56K internet connection disconnected a lot of the time.
I just made a new username now that i have a new PC, and broadband.... (Larsagi007)!

Shred Danson 04-12-2005 01:18 PM

Wow. That automatically makes you not a n00b

Hey, MXican, I made a little contribution to your thread. Good goin', by the way.

Leper 04-12-2005 01:19 PM

ya my frigin msn is down too..

Yes, but you have 37 posts?
And anyway, get them merged?

LarsAgi007 04-12-2005 01:21 PM
Wow. That automatically makes you not a n00b

Yes, i guess it does mean I am not a N00b, But I have never really argued against anyone calling be a N00b because its not a thing that really gets to me, I just look at there join date and chuckle :naughty:

Yes, i have tried getting my acount's merged, I have posts i would like to get added onto my current MX account, However Double_Bass_Jim, said it is not really worth doing just for 38 posts...

Shred Danson 04-12-2005 01:23 PM

What's with the excessive use of irrelevant smileys, dude?

LarsAgi007 04-12-2005 01:25 PM
What's with the excessive use of irrelevant smileys, dude?
I don't know, i could really do with stopping that, I have been getting told since i was 12 years old to stop posting stupid smilies, and saying lol at the end of every sentance also lol <(See!)

Post people think that i could never really be a mod, the truth is i would never wan't to be one, i think the mods are doing a great job at the moment anyway though.
I was accually a moderator at the age of 12 on a file sharing program called Aimster, and I also became a webmaster of a website created by users for uses, consisting of tutorials ect:, I also made a large variety of skins for Aimster, Was rather interesting... I originally told the owner of Aimster of was 23, It wouldn't of gone down to well if he found out i was 12 at the time!!
A few users that i used to speak to commanly on Aimsters site that were interested in music were Jred250, Lord_Nexus, TexThrock, JoviGirl, SharringGoddess, Phonicaholic, And Phoenix_Fire, Not sure if you reconise these usernames, but i think they may have been users of MX at one point..

IAJP 04-12-2005 01:30 PM

I know that I for one could never become a mod.
It's not something I think about that much though, to be honest.

LarsAgi007 04-12-2005 01:32 PM

Well, I disagree, I think (almost) Anyone can become a mod, from what i have seen of you, your very mature, and a sensible poster, But if anyone want's to be a mod its just a case of setting your mind to it... I must say its alot more fun trying to become a mod, than accually being one! (From my perspective that is)

Thanks.
By the way, that's the first time I've been called mature for a long time, I'm only 15 anyway, but I usually act very imature. I've been a mod on another forum, but the forum wasn't as good as this one, heh.
And with that, I'm out.
Nice talking to you all.:)

I don't really judge people by their age, I think really its a case of, Your either Mature or Not, I know 15 year olds that are somewhat mature. yet i know 37 year olds that are definatly NOT mature... Its all in the way they are brought up, and just there general personallity i think.

I am acting very immature at the moment because my CD player is refusing to play Apacalyptica Grrr!
I wouldn't mind but for once the CD is accually spotless!

Illmatic 04-12-2005 01:59 PM

I hope not a lot of stuff that the professors lectured on in my classes today are on their finals because I didn't really take notes...

ATM 04-12-2005 02:12 PM

I just feel that anything I post is going to be evaluated and judged for signifigance.

Mazeppa 04-12-2005 02:15 PM

Wow, I now have a broadband connection at last, this is brilliant. Not so exciting for you guys maybe, but I've been on dial up for ages. I'm now going to go and download everything in the "Request YSI" thread.

Shred Danson 04-12-2005 02:19 PM

Emperor, huh? I was listening to some Satyricon a while back...

ATM 04-12-2005 02:21 PM

Bobo sent me a bunch of metal mp3s, because I didn't know anything about the genre. I like what he sent.
