Teeth Of Lions Rule The Divine anyone?
The name has always fascinated me.
Isn't that a Stephen 'O Malley sideproject?

I haven't posted in a long time in here.
ANyone bought some new cd's lately?

Tyr 08-28-2006 04:29 PM

I'm almost done listening to Solitude Aeturnus' Through the Darkest Hour and I must say that I like it a lot.

pate 08-28-2006 04:31 PM

Kickass. Check Beyond the Crimson Horizon as well. They both pwn hard, but I like BtCH more.

Txus 08-28-2006 04:33 PM

^ Both albums are godly.

Tyr 08-28-2006 04:33 PM

Will do, sir.

pate 08-28-2006 04:35 PM
^ Both albums are godly.
That is very true.

Daven 08-28-2006 05:17 PM

Would anyone recommend me Skepticism's Stormcrowfleet if i love Aeothe Kaear?

the2stranger 08-28-2006 05:18 PM

I Would!
It's pretty much in the vain of the demo.
Very good cd, although the production is about the same as the demo.
But oh well, it's not a that big deal.
Go for it Daven.

Daven 08-28-2006 05:19 PM

Sounds good then.

/Downloading

the2stranger 08-28-2006 05:21 PM

it even has some of the same tracks if I'm not mistaken.
/Hasn't listened to the demo for a while anymore.

Daven 08-28-2006 05:23 PM

/Has not listened to FD in a while.

*puts on Skepticism*

Bongzilla, anyone? :-D

Poofy 666 08-28-2006 07:42 PM

After listening to the new Isole, I don't think its as good as Forvermore, but its still pretty damn good.

the2stranger 08-29-2006 04:40 AM
Bongzilla, anyone? :-D
I still need to check them out.
I've become intressted in stoner lately.
What are good starters?

Apocalyptic Raids 08-29-2006 04:49 AM
I'm almost done listening to Solitude Aeturnus' Through the Darkest Hour and I must say that I like it a lot.
All Solitude Aeturnus is great.

I'd go for Into the Depths of Sorrow and Downfall next.

AlienEater 08-29-2006 06:52 AM
Electric Wizard
They're awesome.

Werny 08-29-2006 07:03 AM
Teeth Of Lions Rule The Divine anyone?
Hells yeah man.
For those not in the know, it was a tribute to someone who died, forget who though. It's Stephen O'Malley, Greg Anderson, Lee Dorrian and ...Justin Greaves? I think that's his name. Lovely drone.

I got Skepticism's Lead and Aether finally. F'ing gorgeous.

Nepenthe 08-29-2006 07:44 PM

Yes, TOLRTD is excellent.

I've been listening to Stormcrowfleet the past two nights, and if I continue listening to it Skepticism may top Evoken as my favorite for Funeral Doom.

Daven 08-29-2006 07:46 PM

I was about to download some Skepticism off Metal Area until some fag hacked it.

Nepenthe 08-29-2006 07:51 PM

Yeah, that pisses me right off.

Why did it take me so long to look into Paramaecium?

And Mythological Cold Towers, and Loss and Of Darkness? Damn, I found so many good Doom bands today.

Especially Mythological Cold Towers! This is some of the best **** I've ever heard.

the2stranger 08-30-2006 09:30 AM

Hey folks!

Anthony: those bands sound intressting, I'll check sme out.
Homework like that is always nice. :)

Also: I recieved cd's today:
Khanate - Khanate
Aarni -Bathos
Nortt - Ligfaerd.
Mar De Grises - The Tatterdemaillon Express

Txus 08-30-2006 12:55 PM

Did you liked the Mar De Grises album, Peter?

I think it's awesome, one of the best Doom album I've heard.

the2stranger 08-30-2006 01:01 PM

Hey Mike, to be homest I haven't yet listened to it.
I NEEDED to watch the Arcturus dvd first, (which also arrived with the above mentioned cd's:D) so I'm going to losten to Mar De grises right now.
You'll hear from me later!

Nepenthe 08-30-2006 05:01 PM

You won't be dissapointed with the Nortt. It's nothing particularly breathtaking, but it's very solid.

the2stranger 08-31-2006 03:44 AM

It's a good album indeed, I've listened to it once so far, I like it.

And for Mar De Grises:
Very heavy, I like it a lot although I can't yet place my finger on any specific parts or songwriting ways that I like.
I think I need to listen some more.

EDIT:
Mar De Grises is amazing.
I love these guys.
