its hard for me to find 2 songs that DO sound alike...i mean of course they do have their own style that they use, but i cant name a band with talent and their own songs who doesnt have a certain formula or style they use when writing songs...

I like their songs i've heard, only a few, only one i can remember is Time to Waste. Is the Crimson like this song? I'm thinking 'bout buying it...

Crimson is their worst album in my opinion. Get Good Mourning or From Here To Infirmary if you can. :thumb:

Oki, i will check em out... Also, never woulda thought Alkyline was pop-punk, hard for me to put em together with Green Day + Blink etc... (which i don't like)

i like all blink's albums, but greenday needs to break up or go back to their old style the new stuff blows....alk3 can change up a bit without sucking, and thats whats so great about them!

They are pop-punk, and pretty much nothing else.

Alkaline Trio and old Green Day/Blink is actually pretty similar. Alk3 is just a lot...hm...darker. I guess.

I think new Blink and Green Day is considered power pop.

More-so Blink than Green Day, Green Day is still pop-punkish, just with less punk than before. Blink is a lot more power pop than before.

i think blink has lost some of the pop vibe and got more general rockish, but definately wouldnt call them punk...i think green day has just ****ed themselves massively in the rectum...my own personal opinion of course

Good Mourning is such a great album. I listened to it all the way through yesterday.

Personally, Good Mourning or Crimson are my least favourite albums, but they still own.

I think I finally have everything the band has recorded, minus two tracks I can't find anywhere - "Weak Weak" and "Magic Bullets"

I have weak week. The quality is awful though.

Is it the misfits song there doing for THwasteland?

I have Weak Week. I'm having trouble finding Magic Bullets though... or if it exists at all.

The Poisen is possibly Alk3's best song.
