Yeah, a Stephen King movie, a few of the tracks of the album feature in the film.
they also made "Big Guns" for "last action hero". the movie was a blockbuster flop, but the songs were allright.
Most people I know that like ACDC are either faggots, ignorant posers- who have no concept of music at all, or both. I dont care what music people listen to as long as they arn't posers and respect other kinds of music. If I knew someone that really liked Greenday, but knew alot about them, and has knowledge of otherkinds of music and wasn't ignorant, then I wouldn't care, but ACDC has always appeared as "poser" music to me, not bad music tho.

makes sense like last ngiht i was tlkaing to this maiden fan but i kept proving him wrong i ended up telling him to shut up cos he only listened to big bands like zeppelin maiden metallica he didnt like AC/DC cos the singer has a hgih pitched voice btu he didnt no there was 2 singers so he doesnt have a clue i hate him and he literally **** himself until he was 14

Ulysses 04-24-2005 11:10 PM

Robert Plant has a high pitched voice and he likes him, what's going on there.

rippa32 04-25-2005 05:49 AM

I noticed you also said Maiden fan. You cant tell me Bruce Dickinson doesnt have a hight pitched voice,

AB/CD 04-25-2005 09:16 AM

told him that aswell he said no bruce doesnt have a high pitched voice and he said he wasl istening to them i asked what song and he said number of the beast i mean u have that high pitched scream an all at the start anyway back to AC/DC anybody no brian johnson done that geordie reunion just to get them some money

Brewer14 04-25-2005 01:17 PM

I wouldnt even consider Bon or Brians voice "high pitched"..

maddog87 04-25-2005 02:36 PM

yea, its got more of a "growl" sound to it.

maddog87 04-25-2005 03:09 PM

bon had a higher voice than brian does, but you can understand him(brian)
a little bit better when he sings. dont get me wrong though, bon is the greatest.

...the second guitarist in my band plays Ac/Dc NON-STOP when we practice...I personally like Ac/Dc a lot. They are one of my favorite bands...but it gets so annoying when he tries to play thunderstruck. I might be able to stand it if he could play it right. He just got a new huge stack too...oh god...I shudder just thinking about the next practice...

Sorry, just wanted to add my two cents. Anyway...

ROCK!!!!!!!

ef drummer 89 04-25-2005 04:16 PM

ac/dc is pretty good

megaforce 04-25-2005 04:17 PM

maybe you should be lookin for another guitarist, if its so annoyin or tell the guy to stop.

AB/CD 04-25-2005 04:41 PM

or u could slap him upside the face with a glass bottle or u could al learn a song more interesting than thunderstruck then he will lvoe u all and u can all play that successfully

rippa32 04-25-2005 11:41 PM

Yeah I love AC/DC but it would get so annoying if thats all I played. In fact thats true for all the bands I listen to.

Anyone got some advice on playing the intro to Back in Black...it's easy enough but I can't get it to sound like how Angus plays it...it comes off, I don't know, it's hard to explain, almost robotic maybe, when I play it. Advice?

theres a beat between each chord(you are playing power chords, i hope).are you having trouble with the riff after the first three notes?? that was the hardest part for me when i first started playing. timing is every thing. keep practicing.

Bon_Scottie 04-26-2005 01:45 PM

Thats just basically the pentatonic scale.

It's easy when you get the hang of it.

Just found out some awesome new album information, check it out here;

Thanks for the link :thumb:

As for the person having trouble playing back in black, do you have the program Guitar Pro? If so, download the GP file for Back in Black and listen to it on there. It helps a ton when you can't get the rhythm right with a song, because you can turn everything off but the guitar.

You dont need to use power chords. In fact Angus uses full chords.
hehe...look at the name.

I dedicated my screen name to malcolm because he is more dedicated/ talented than angus. Angus admits that Malcolm is a better guitar player. He writes most off the riffs and solos and Angus just plays them.
Then why does Angus do all teh solos? If Mal's better, he should play the role of lead guitar.

ANyway, AC/DC is one of vfavorite bands as well because, even though a lot of thier stuff sounds the same, they still rock. That's all that really matters to me. Their songs are simple. but some how they manage to sound awesome. Of course i like other bands, like the Clash, the Who and teh Beatles, but AC/DC ramians one of the greatest bands ever, and they don't quite get eh respect they deserve.

It affects his drinking. Or something like that.

AB/CD 04-27-2005 03:26 PM

angus always said malcolm was better guitarist which he was i mean listen to his solo on can i sit next to you girl anyway ends up affected malcolms drinking so he said angus u midget play lead now (not exact wrds but wouldnt surprise me if he did)

rippa32 04-28-2005 04:52 AM

Isnt Malcolm a midget too?

Marty 04-28-2005 11:13 AM
