anyone listen to Katharsis? they seem pretty obvious but i don't think i've seen anyone ever mention them in here. i like their album 666 though.

Deathspell Omega should have quit after Kenose.

Kruzifixxion is the only Katharsis I have, decent but don't listen to it too much.

Honestly I don't know of too many. Moonblood's [I]Blut und Krieg[/I] is worth checking out as all instruments and song writing is handled by the same guy and the production values are as good as Moonblood gets. Besides Moonblood I don't know too much music that sounds similar to that album.

I'm not sure how consistent their albums are cause i like 666 a lot (reminds me of early Darkthrone) but I heard WorldWithoutEnd and didn't care for it too much.

I only heard one of Katharsis' early demos and it was okay. I never listen to it.

i had nar solen gar nider for evogher from them (the swedish one i assume idk if there are others) i think thats what its called and i liked it at one point then got tired of how overly melodic it is. if you like them you would probably like carpathian full moon though, they're melodic too but in a more doom-y direction.

EDIT: i do remember making a note to check out their pre-Naer Solen stuff in the hopes that it might be less melodic/more death metal.

I agree that they can go a bit far with their melodies, but overall I think they show pretty good musicianship.
