doesn't bother me, whenever i have a problem i switch to IE anyway. the firefox brigade is a trend imo. i don't really see any difference except i keep firefox cleaner than my family who use IE with "toolbars" everywhere and such.

because its a lot more flexible, its a lot easier to install add-ons that actually work, the spam blocker actually works, it loads pages faster, etc.

IE is a piece of ****. IE7 wishes it were Firefox, but it will never come close. Firefox + Adblock Plus = perfection.

i dont want to get into a debate in the BM thread but speaking from my own experience i've had more trouble getting stuff done (like that rapidshare stuff) on firefox than IE, i don't think its any faster, popup blocker is as good etc etc.

im no computer 1337 guy by any means so maybe some 1338 haX0r would know better idk
and im not really too bothered about learning the stuff anyway

i use IE but my computer is pretty ****ed up and thats the only thing that works

Most adware/spyware and viruses that come through on browsers come through on IE only because IE never ****ing updates to block that stuff, whereas Firefox is squeaky clean.

That and firefox is just better at everything else.

I prefer Opera, but for some reason it stutters with flash heavy myspaces and such. So I use Firefox.

why do you look at flash heavy myspaces?

Firefox is better hands down. I find it somewhat faster than IE overall (though that might be subjective) and much more flexible than IE, in terms of plugins like Greasemonkey (that's definitely objective).

Plus it's cross-platform: I can't run Internet Exploder when I'm using Slackware
