is this the Blaze dvd we're talking about here?
Didn't know there was a DVD...I've got the Double CD. It's really good, I've been getting into a lot of Blaze lately... |
I just wanted to pop in and say that The Trooper is awesome. Good day.
yes it is, good day :)
Didn't know there was a DVD...I've got the Double CD. It's really good, I've been getting into a lot of Blaze lately...
my bad, i mean't cd |
Maiden England is an excellent Concert, I love it! I've only got it on video and I don't have a video player in my flat and I don't want to go to my mums house to watch it... :upset:
imo can i play with madness sounds the best i have ever heard it live on maiden englands. Death on the road's "can i play with madness" was quite disapointing. The backing vocals ruined it for me, still a awesome song live though. Anyway, i would recommend anyone to buy maiden england, its probably my favorite, and i have seen every dvd they put out. also to crag: i have also been getting into a ton of blaze aswell (considering i have just bought x factor and virtual xi) hes a ton better then i expected. |
hey, i just got my first iron maiden cd whilst out getting some metal cds for inspiration, and i have to say they kick MAJOR ***!

:thumb: nice :thumb: which cd did you get

Nor is Nicko...I think he has a go from time to time. It's wierd, when I listen to LADonnington the backing vocals sound much better, but then I guess it's a two, not three part harmony. |
^^^ do you have the white cover for that cd? or the one with the bat/eddie thing?
|

^^^i think this was posted a few pages back but it doesnt matter anyway, its a new tribute cd with the likes of anthrax, motorhead, kiss, acdc, judas priest and tons more another interesting note is that derek riggs will paint the cover :):):):) "The cover of every official IRON MAIDEN album has featured a zombie called "Eddie." Eddie has been painted by artist Derek Riggs for 20 years. "Numbers from the Beast" cover art was naturally painted by Riggs and is a must-have for any MAIDEN fan." they seriously need riggs to come back and paint the album covers again. Dance of death's cover was pitiful. |
does anyone know whats happening about the trooper drum track?
I can and would like to do it. :thumb: |
Interesting stuff here...
:thumb: nice :thumb: which cd did you get
|

|
anyone here the piano tribute to maiden?
nope |
^^^ do you have the white cover for that cd? or the one with the bat/eddie thing?
Bat/Eddie. I am aware that the white cover ones are very collectable though. |
I just have the bat eddie one too...
Remasters. |
which CD cover are you on about?
|
good question. I've never heard of anything like that.
|
Is their new CD any good? I've heard mixed reviews about it. So far I've got the very first 3 albums and I'm probably gonna pick up either Piece of Mind/Fear Of The Dark next.
What's this Bat thing you guys are talking about anyways? |

:p yeah I meant Dance, didn't feel like typing it all out....>_> yes I'm lazy tonight :(
Anyways, I've heard great thinsg about both Piece and Fear, but I do love their song fear of the Dark, so I might go for that one before piece of Mind. Anyone have any info regarding their new cd set to be released next year? All I've heard is that it's due out next year...but nothing else >_< |
I like Dance of Death, it's a different style than their older work, but I like every song on the album, some more than others though obviously, Paschendale, Dance of Death and No More Lies are probably my favourites, real masterpeices.
Dance of Death in my opinion is a good album, but it might take a bit longer to get into it than other Maiden albums. Oh, and get Peice of Mind before Fear of the Dark. Fear of the Dark is good, but I'd say it has less stellar tracks than most of the other CDs. The title track is really good though. |
The song Dance of Death has a real epic sound to it.

What's this Bat thing you guys are talking about anyways?
the bat eddie thing we are talkin about is "live at donnington" and regarding your next cd, go for piece of mind, it has some very awesome songs on it such as, trooper, revelations, flight of icarus, die with your boots on, and where eagle dare. But if it was me, i wouldnt go for either cd. dont get me wrong, both those cds are great, but if i was you i would buy powerslave next, or brave new world |
Yes.
BNW is one of the finest albums ever. Not a single track on there I think's worth skipping (except sometimes The Nomad), as compared to New Frontier and Gates Of Tomorrow on DoD. |
brave new world was my first maiden cd :D
i absolutely played it to death i actaully got to get a new copy, the jewel case is all broken :upset: |
