Sam Goody could be the worst store ever.
I don't think I've ever been in one, but they look really lame.

Zellers sucks, too. What kinda name is that, for Christs sake....

They're horrible. $19.99 for newly released CD's.

Wtf? Insane. I found a cool used CD store in Vancouver that has a lot of old CDs for $7-$10. That's where I'm spending most of my money these days.

Jacaranda 06-16-2005 09:46 PM

Ya I've been going to used stores and just getting used CDs for $4.99 but they are usually really bad CDs last one I got was Garth Brookes for the hell of it.

Glitterati 06-16-2005 10:10 PM

Speaking of music, I just saw the new Billy Idol music video on TV. 'Twas the most badass thing I've ever seen.

That song sucks.
That song sucks.
The song sucks compares to his old stuff, but the video's kinda cool. Still, can't beat his work in the '80s.

So, who's still doing exams? I'm done mine.

Zappa 06-16-2005 11:40 PM
Hehe, I'll still be lugging my acoustic guitar around the Reading campsite.

It's amazing the amount of free beer/phone numbers you get.
You know, I don't think a melodica has nearly the same power of attraction. Unless we're talking about attracting strange looks.

You'd be surprised, you'd be surprised.

/bought melodica off of ebay for cheap, played it for a week then forgot about it

Not even new ones! They had two Metallica albums (good ones!) for twenty bucks too! Then they had a handful of CDs for ten bucks, but they were in the same category as the Metallica ones (best-selling albums that are 15-20 years old). Where do they decide the prices? Seems pretty arbitrary to me.

I just dropped about 30USD on a 37 key one. I hope not to forget about it in a week.

I'm sure that you'll take more interest in it, then. Mine was pretty crappy and only cost me $10.

I ran the 400 meters today and now I'm coughing all the time and I think I'm going to vomit.

Oh god...I hate the 400 meter thing. Makes me feel weird for a while.

/out of shape

YDload 06-17-2005 12:14 AM

Tonight I went ice skating for the first time ever.

Apparently I did really good for my first time, but I fell down a couple of times and it was really wet and cold. Also, that last sentence can be misinterpreted any number of ways.

It's the worst one, you don't know whether to run or jog.

Zappa 06-17-2005 12:18 AM

Ice skating is something I too only did once. I don't have any desire to do it again.

In the end, I kinda look like your avatar.

Ice skating...I remember, in 7th grade (just graduated from 10th) we went on a field trip going ice skating. We all had buddys from the grade 2 class. What a day.

/fond memories

Zappa 06-17-2005 12:26 AM

My favorite middle school field trip was to the bowling alley, I think.

br3ad_man 06-17-2005 12:34 AM

I always liked the museums.

Glitterati 06-17-2005 12:35 AM
I always liked the museums.
I liked museums and parks best.

I had to go curling once. Hoo, boy, that wasn't too fun

biografiend 06-17-2005 06:53 AM

I have a melodica.

I don't think we ever took any really exciting field trips. Except we went caving once, and that was neat.

Sucks, I run Cross Country.

So basically I'm an idiot.

123.

There's nothing like vomiting in the middle of the woods while wearing next to nothing.

pinkyeti 06-17-2005 09:35 AM

My favourite middle school trip was the one where the bus driver drove bus straight into a little river. Lots of fun.

Check it now, fool.

YDload 06-17-2005 04:12 PM

My favorite field trip was to Mexico. But I think it had a different name, it was still the same idea of "going somewhere with people from school and a teacher who acts as a chaperone while we learn things."

br3ad_man 06-17-2005 06:35 PM
Sucks, I run Cross Country.

I prefer Cross Country because you can take it a bit easier and jog for most of it. None of it is very nice though. :(

My new keyboard is here and my Mum is picking it up. I'm also starting my post-rock band this holidays and once we've recorded a few tracks (we've written a couple), I'll ask you guys how they are.
