I thought Dave Kushner had a pretty good stage presence as well.

And if the Datsuns had tried somthign new,I would've been more impressed. But If I realy want the authentic 70's rock sound, then I'll dig out my cds :p I see where you're coming from though as it's nice to see something a litttle bit differnt live.

Yeah Kushner had good presence, he's actually a much better guitarist than I had given him credit for, I thought he was just a "go on stage, play the riffs, go home" kind of guy, but the duelling solos in Set Me Free impressed me.

And yeah, while the Datsuns aren't Deep Purple or Led Zeppelin, they put on a pretty good 70's rock impression for a live band.

At least its better than getting Funeral for a Freind like at Iron Maiden. :p

heh..I couldn't hear much, but the solo's looked impressive.
And I guess anyone would be better than funeral for a friend :p

I think some of the die hard GNR fans had a heart attack because Slash used other guitars than a Les Paul

I saw FFAF open for Maiden. They weren't very good, but it didn't bother me much because I was seeing Maiden.

Freezing rain hit, and all of the major cities in Oregon are being frozen over right now. /lame

My place is just getting hit with it now, at the same time last year it happened heh. We got an 1-2 inches of pure ice every where, what a mess I had to clean up after that...so many trees were down. Hope it is not as bad as last year...

Also this ruined my plans for the day...so now I can't go anywhere.

I got this Simulation baby yesterday for one of my classes, And it has to bed fed, burped, changed and the whole ordeal. it kept me up ALL freaking night and wouldn't shut up. You have to sit there with a bottle in front of his mouth for 20 minutes before hes done, then you have to pat him on the back for another 15 to burp him :angry: Needless to say im not having children in the near future and this experience was a nightmare. But my partner is coming to take it in 2 hours so i will finally be free :)
