That's kinda why I think Opeth and Tool would be great together. Same type of fanbase. They will both be releasing albums, so they will tour for them.

Isis with Tool, Opeth with Tool, Meshuggah with Tool, any of those would make me happy.

Dont sleep on the tones. If they did tour together we might get to see "Deftones ft. Maynard - Passenger". Which is a good song in case some of you don't know!!!

If you can get passed the vocals, I can almost promise you'll love it. Have you only heard the death metal vocals? They mix growling, with great singing.

Personally, I love their vocals. I usually don't like really deep growling, but I love Mikael's. He can hit the perfect notes. And his singing is great too.

I used to think that too. Some of the best music has harsh vocals in my opinion. It also gets across alot of emotion.

i really enjoy the music i heard, but i would rather hear singing then a death growl.

I've never heard Opeth before... I've heard of them but none of there music. Does anyone have any suggestions of what songs I should download to here what there like?

He definetly has some great singing. You really have to get past the growling.
