I have a thing about lounging. So I like the chaise, haha. It's a flippable one, too, so it can be moved to the other side of the sofa if I find that I can't have it on that side down the road.

I'm going to the Van Gogh showroom (the maker of the above sofas) on Saturday to see some of the stuff we don't carry.

I looooove lounging. My girlfriend makes fun of me because I prefer to sleep on the couch instead of my bed (and I have a nice bed).

I checked out the furniture selection online and I like a lot of the modern vibe they have going on. Cool stuff. :)

gaslight 02-18-2012 05:30 AM

Yes I like the 3rd one with the extra bit too.

fatbandit 02-18-2012 09:42 AM

I'm definitely in love with the doctor on prison break.

FunkMetalBass 02-18-2012 04:16 PM

I'm definitely in love with this new .222 low E-string. I'm so pumped to get my P routed for the MDF pickups.

I set it up with a .222, .166, .124, .94 set (octave-below EADG) and ran it through a low pass filter (75 Hz) into my 18" cab. It was the sexiest, br00talist dub I've ever experienced.

BenJammin 02-18-2012 06:46 PM

Well, furniture showroom visit was fairly underwhelming. Not as much stuff as I would have liked to have seen, but I did really enjoy:

It sat very comfortably. Not in that fabric, of course, but overall I was fond of it.

fatbandit 02-18-2012 07:04 PM

God damn it's not looking good for her being in season 2 by the looks of things :(

FunkMetalBass 02-20-2012 01:34 PM

Music is kind of lame, but I'd definitely go see them.

Hey all, how's it going?

Pluperfect_Arson 02-24-2012 11:30 PM
I have this thing about symmetry, though, so I could never own one with the chaise option.
Put it in the middle, problem solved.

BenJammin 02-25-2012 04:19 PM

Then your couch would look like a big cock and balls.

Pluperfect_Arson 02-25-2012 04:42 PM

Yeah, but that's hot.

All the bitches will love it, so teach me how to dougie.

BenJammin 02-25-2012 07:47 PM

-_-

Jimbobntnr 02-26-2012 01:15 AM

Ben's Ikea trip. Awesome.

Jimbobntnr 02-26-2012 01:41 AM

so... hitting F5 on the bass forum isn't quite the same as it was.

gaslight 02-26-2012 09:43 AM

Got a nice fretless coming my way, should be fun.

BenJammin 02-26-2012 01:40 PM

Oh yeah?

Pluperfect_Arson 02-26-2012 02:33 PM
so... hitting F5 on the bass forum isn't quite the same as it was.
It's really not. I recently came back after being away for some time, and the same threads were on the front page, only some of them had new posts.
so... hitting F5 on sputnik isn't quite the same as it was.
amended.
Oh yeah?
Yeah, Fender Tony Franklin sig.

Excited for its arrival.

FunkMetalBass 02-28-2012 06:12 PM

Took a nasty fall in the terrain park on Sunday. The bruise I have on my hip is probably the worst I've ever seen (and certainly experienced). I'm half tempted to post the picture here.

gaslight 02-29-2012 05:38 AM

Terrain park?

FunkMetalBass 02-29-2012 09:04 AM
Terrain park?
It's the place with all of the jumps and rails on a snowy mountain.

Kind of like this:

fatbandit 02-29-2012 09:05 AM

Yeah what's a terrain park?

And realistically, I need a band.

fatbandit 02-29-2012 09:06 AM

Did you edit a picture in before I replied? Sneaky beast.

FunkMetalBass 02-29-2012 09:39 AM
Did you edit a picture in before I replied? Sneaky beast.
I did not. According to the forums, you were about one minute behind my post.

I need a band too. Got a phone call from a friend who has lined up some session work for me, though, so that's cool. I'll find out more details today.

nicatterberry 02-29-2012 09:46 AM
indeed! what's going on Nic?
Not much man, just moved back up to the Springfield area.

How have ya been?

gaslight 02-29-2012 09:28 PM

Oh it's on a mountain. Makes perfect sense now.

I was picturing just like, a park. And then imagining another park with more, terrain? And like, wasn't working out. Extra... hills?

But now I see.

What's all that white powdery stuff on the ground?

BenJammin 03-01-2012 12:10 AM

Coke.

gaslight 03-01-2012 05:44 AM

Haha.

Funny fact, measured by the gram I have seen more cocaine in person than I have seen real snow.

BenJammin 03-01-2012 11:59 AM

That's funny, really. You don't get any snow there at all, eh? There are a lot of Australians in BC who all love wintery outdoor sports.

Pluperfect_Arson 03-01-2012 09:12 PM
Haha.

I fell asleep once at a party, woke up in the middle of the night with three people doing coke around me.

It was the oddest experience ever.
I fell asleep once at a party, woke up in the middle of the night with three people doing coke around me.

Were they doing it OFF of you?

BenJammin 03-02-2012 10:32 AM

Clearly if you fell asleep at a party, you should have been doing coke, too.

FunkMetalBass 03-02-2012 02:03 PM

Just got a text from my girlfriend that reads "We are excellent acrobatic sexers." I left for work almost 5 hours ago. I wonder who it was really intended for.

Pluperfect_Arson 03-02-2012 04:36 PM
Were they doing it OFF of you?
Yeah, right off my penis and chest. It was weird.
Just got a text from my girlfriend that reads "We are excellent acrobatic sexers." I left for work almost 5 hours ago. I wonder who it was really intended for.
Probably for you.

If she was fucking somebody else she'd just tell them that in person.

gaslight 03-03-2012 08:31 AM
That's funny, really. You don't get any snow there at all, eh? There are a lot of Australians in BC who all love wintery outdoor sports.
There's snow but not near Sydney, you have to drive for the snowfields up in the mountains. For simplicity we call them the Snowy Mountains.

From my house, snow is about 6 hours away I think.
