Oh, shi....How you doin'?

thisis sceneSUICIDE 07-06-2005 12:01 PM

Now, I made it bigger. It was rather small.

Myspace isn't all that much fun. But Xanga is addictive.

Surtr 07-06-2005 12:01 PM

"I Am Not A Number! I Am A Free Man!"

That's right I am no slave to Myspace, LJ or Xanga! I AM A FREE MAN!

thisis sceneSUICIDE 07-06-2005 12:02 PM

Ha, all my friends from around here are on Xanga. So it's more fun than Myspace.

Don't know him, but then again, I'm fairly new (for the second time around. Darn those MX breaks.)

I feel like we should be starting a clubhouse right about now or something. :)
"Is this how it feels when you don't even fit into your own skin?"

Thank you, Mr. Geoff Rickly, once again you explain my situation. Society makes me sick. I can't stand people anymore. I try to myself not to hate but I cannot sit by and watch these girls go abut life like it's nothing. Is it envy? Certainly, but I hate them and their fakeness. There's just something about them I can't stand. I said to my friend today, "I've got to get away from here. I'm going somewhere." I hate watching them laugh at a stupid joke, I hate them trying to act cute, I hate them trying to act tough. Why can't they feel something more than just this superficial society? But who am I to judge. I am just as weak as them, I have not broken free of the bonds of society. But with this weight on my back, I am looking for answers. Because if I don't understand it soon, I think I'm going to crack. Shatter into a thousand ****ing pieces. So smash me.[/QOUTE]

I know EXACTLY how that feels, that's pretty much what I've been thinking the past week. People here, in PEI bother me. All these girls acting fake, and the way no one here actually thinks any further than what they know. If someone comes here from another province or country or their another race, the people here will ALWAYS think of them as "from away" or different. They will always treat them different. In class throughout this past year I've nearly left in the middle of class because of this. Some of the teachers pretend to be the perfect teacher and such. I nearly got suspended twice this past year because I stood up in the middle of class and told off the teacher about all this stuff. It's enough to drive you insane at times..

i'm not sure if laughing at that is ok

cbmartinez 07-06-2005 12:21 PM

That's really good man. Just tell those people that get made fun of to keep their head up.

CrimbleVan 07-06-2005 12:21 PM

In respondance (is that a word?) to Stew_Blink... I know what you mean, and try as we might to get people to open their eyes, we're going to be fighting in an already lost battle but that doesnt mean we should stop fighting

I was raised in semi-suburbia Oklahoma...I mean, I can't really say anything...

There isn't that much of anybody who's "different."

cbmartinez 07-06-2005 12:30 PM

You don't have "losers" in your school?

CrimbleVan 07-06-2005 12:30 PM
I was raised in semi-suburbia Oklahoma...I mean, I can't really say anything...

Living in New York shows you quite the variety of "individuals"

Surtr 07-06-2005 12:30 PM

Well..different here is if your from New Brunswick..which is just across the river/straight from PEI. I once had a docter from Ireland and he ended up leaving PEI because people from here HATED him. Just because he was Irish. He had done nothing wrong yet people had egged his house and wrote him letters telling him to leave because he wasn't wanted and such.

CrimbleVan 07-06-2005 12:34 PM

I'm not one for labels and such, but in my school there seems to be quite the... schism between the "punks" and "gangsters" which are the two strongholds around here

Surtr 07-06-2005 12:36 PM

At my school there were
Popular kids
Loser/Ugly kids
1 gangster like guy, who is a good friend of mine
like..2 "punk" like guys (me being one..and I'm not even close to punk looking)
and then all the other people were pretty much video game nerds

Next year though there's gonna be a fair few different group of people as I am going into Highschool (Grade 10..go me)

thisis sceneSUICIDE 07-06-2005 12:40 PM
You don't have "losers" in your school?
See, my school is weird. It's so small that we have alot of different KINDS of people. Skaters, "punks", metalheads, jocks, but everybody has to hang out with everybody else in order to have friends. Everybody grew up together, so when everybody went their seperate ways, they still stayed with the kids they grew up with.

I hang out with all the "scene kids" but I'm dating a "jock" and everybody kind of hangs out with everybody. It's so small, that unless you want to be friends with 10 people tops, you kind of befriend everybody. Sure, there are some people who separate themselves, but they're treated differently because they ask to be. And even then, there are people who try to bring them in.

As I said, my school is kiiinda weird.
