Hannibalectric 12-13-2004 06:46 PM

I prefer old metal to just plain classic rock. I'm 17, gimme Saxon, Maiden and Dio over Good Charolette, New Found Glory, and Blink 182 any day.

Broken Arrow 12-13-2004 06:49 PM

I never knew Good Charloote and Blink 182 were classic rock?

That's great but they aren't classic rock either.

Woodstock: I got carried away with drum solos and now I'm listening to Clive Bunker's on Jethro Tull's first album.

Hannibalectric 12-13-2004 06:50 PM

i was using those as bands that are out today, stupid fake punk ****. BUt i see how i completely changed the topic of my poist that that. thats why im failing english.

Pause buttons exist, you know.

Listen to the cover so we can start bitching about it.

Hannibalectric 12-13-2004 06:52 PM

OK OK Ill, clarify.
I dont like classic rock AS MUCH AS old metal.
I would rather listen to OLD METAL than TODAY'S CRAP.

btw, i do know what classic rock is, i just wrote that post badly.

Pause! What kind of person are you? That's unholy to the flow of the song. Lucky for you it's over now anyway.

jpj 12-13-2004 06:53 PM

That cover makes me want to stick a sharpened pencil in my ear and shove a rusty nail in my eye.

i'd listen to the second side (second half if its a cd) on the Thick as a Brick album. They have some pretty good drum solo's in there. I think Jethro Tull had the most unknown yet talented members out of any successful classic rock band, maybe it was because lineup changes were always occuring.

the other day we were doing homework at my house, and my friend noticed i had a few Doors albums laying about, and he's like "man i have this one awesome song with Snoop Dogg featuring the Doors on ___(some video game)" so im like hmmm...and i play him Riders on the Storm, and he admits after hearing the original that Snoop Doog did wreck the song.

If you were BORN in 1968 you would have missed alot of what you were talking about.

You would be way to young.
