Butler and craig are off in Halo 2 land. Im in 400 things that aren't mx land, but Im up for a night on here at last.
Got challenged to play the Enter Sandman solo, but since I dont listen to Metallica much anymore, I cant get the damned rythym. And why cant I spell this week? |
You guys can call me Drew when other Andy is here, or just call me Brum. /late
omgomgomgomgomgomg:eek: Music Live rocked :D We spent more time in the coach getting there + back than what we did in the NEC (It took 3.5hours to get there, st00pid 'kin traffic jams :mad::angry: ) but when we got there it was worth it. I tried out a Musicman Stingray, a BC Rich Warlock and an Ephiphone(sp?) Thunderbird. All were great, apart from the Warlock which was kinda sucky, but I loved played them all. (They were basses for those that don't know). So in all, I've had a great day, and sitting at the back of the coach being hXc 6th formers was fun, the teachers didn't seem to care that we were squashing the dude in the middle seat, or the fact that we were playing GLC - Your Mother's got a Pen!s when they were near us, or the fact that we were shouting things out like ''Hey Muzz, whats the odd smell coming from your chair?'' etc...it was fun :) |
All good music related things seem to eminate from there. Warlock make basses too? Should have figured, h8 the guitars they make, look ugly and their action is weird for me.
6th former behaviour has matured since I left i see. It used to be people being desperate for the toilet on the way back from France, so all empty bottles went to the back where we set up a make shift toilet area. Then the filled bottles got passed down the bus, and had to get into the hands of the prankster mob.... Story's conclusion? Make your own. Drewum would be a middle name. Or Brew. Brew sounds better. |
Brew...sounds good to me. :)
We're a bunch of immautre fooks at times, I remember I caught a drumstick once at a gig and spent an entire day poking people and saying ''Ha, I just poked you with my wood''. I also made many other Wood re-lated jokes. Also, when the yr10's + yr11's were throwing empty bottles at each other, I decided to shout down the bus: ''There's no need for such violence kids, grow up and learn to love each other''. Then we did another 'Squash the dude in the middle seat' trick about 5 seconds later. |
All over a poor drumstick.
Would have sucked if it was one of those non wooden drumsticks (name of material escapes me). Then you would be left with just the poking remind sme of the Air Cadets bus to an airshow once. Me and 3 friends were not cadets (we blagged the bus ride to save on money), and after getting back on after it was over, we had a mass BB war before the driver/cadet leader came back. When they did return the cadets got knackered and were told to clean up every BB. We just sat there singing 'We dont have to dooo IT, we dont have to dooo IT' Ahh, buses are the best |
 Aww, poor cadets.
I'd have been screwed if the drumstick wasn't made of wood, an entire day's entertainment would have been ruined. I don't know why, but now could be a good time to wear my giant ''I am 9!'' badge I got given on my 16th b'day. |
Those badges can save a lot of money, simply recieve one at the age of 6 then reverse for a 9th birthday.
|
^Good point.
I just noticed that the stamp I have one my hand for Music Live has the letters LB on it  |
Spooky.
Stamps > Wristbands. Still have a tan line from download around my wrist. Almost faded now at least |
I'm still wearing my Reading wristband, apparently I went to the Reading Weekend 200. The 4 disappeared.
|
Music Live was pants.
Jim Marshall had BO. |
Craig....
Was meaning to talk to you, I noticed something the other dayt while playing GTA Zero = Butler. Agree? |
Oh Yes. Halo 2 is disapointing. |
Really? So many people have dissappered from here to play it religiously. hows it 'not great'?
|
it's for a crap console :p
|
Yeah, well we all know the natural order of consoles
PS2 > Gamecube > X box |
Yeh, right ben.
Except, you seem to have got GC and PS2 mixed up :D |
I own a PS2, hence that is better
But Gamecube does have some killer games. I just hate the control. Thats why I got an adaptor when I play on one, so I can use PS2 control And this is a bit of an anticlimax milestone post compared to my 1000th Meh, 2000th speaks for itself then. :chug: |
E-beer for everyone!
I don't even have to finish it, do I. Anyhoo, I have both a GC and a PS2, so I think I'm in a position to judge. And the GC controller > PS2. The ps2 controller has such crappy analog sticks - the n64 stick was the best analogue stick, and the GC's one is the next best. |
Never been a fan of analogue sticks, I have akward over-flexible thumbs, so I stick to the D pad. I also hate the size of the buttons on the GCs, its annoying for games where B is as prominanent as the A button.
But thats just me. |
you should have seen the proto-type B button
it was going to be kidney-shaped like the X and Y's, on the left hand side of the A. This is much better. I don't like the PS2 controllers, not just for the analogues, but it's not 'chunky' enough. The game cube control is much easier IMO as the left hand analogue stick is place perfectly - it's too awkward on the ps2 to have it 'down' the control. having it 'up' the controller is much better.
having it 'up' the controller is much better.
:naughty: (notgay) |
