Hi everyone, I'm new to these forums, infact this is my first post. After looking around a few of the different music forums, this one suites my tastes best, though a lot of what you guys listen to, I have never heard of.

So, just thought I'd say hello (I hope this is the right topic to do it in) and I hope that I can be a part of the community here. I also can't wait to discover lots of new artists and bands :)

what sorts of bands are you into these days? you might wanna browse through the What I've Been Digging Lately thread and check out some random bands, maybe ones posted alongside bands that you know and like if you wanna try and find some new stuff

i bought a razor scooter for $30

the only downside of it is that it's a razor and not a micro, but whatever. it's meant for kids so good thing i'm short

Today I saw two kids on skateboards being badass and weaving through the crowds of people on their way to class, and trailing behind them was a guy blissfully scooting along on a razor.

Brightened my day.

It's always really relaxing for me to see kids skateboarding. It's like, now there are some people who really now how to enjoy themselves.

i don't care what people say, those little tiny foldable scooters are cool. so handy

if you skate its pretty much expected of you to make fun of rollerbladers and scooterkids

My campus has tons of hills and naturally tons of skateboarders going 30 miles an hour down them. Its pretty common to hear "On your right!" repeated 5 times getting louder and louder and people not even thinking twice of moving to the left because its so common.

i just finished compiling and arranging ten mixes

wowwwww lattalatta music. i told this girl i'd make her mixes a while ago after going to abuilt to spill show with her but i forgot and she just reminded me recently. so i ran through my library adding songs i thought she'd like (no repeating bands) to a playlist. the playlist ended up with about 180 songs sooo yeah i split them into cd-sized playlists according to mood and tone, and then arranged them all and now i am FINALLY done and have begun burning. i wonder if ten mixes is overkill.. im going to draw pictures on all the CDs

sweet, although ten does seem like a hefty amount. But I know it's hard to choose.

I make badass mix discs. I make cool covers and everything too.
