You probably grabbed one of their later discs, their early stuff and just really immature and weird electro grind and pretty enjoyable. I downloaded something they did later on and it was literally like a minute long EP is screeching feedback without any actual pattern

Yeah their later stuff can be pretty rough but their early stuff is fun.

Are Clinging To The Trees Of A Forest Fire and Black Arrows Of Filth And Impurity worth checking out? I think they both fall under grind.

I got into IW very fast.

dont hate the vox as much anymore and once i got past that the music was pretty easy to get into

it took me over a year to get into insect warfare

Haven't listened to IW in a while but they do rule. Not sure if I prefer At War with Grindcore or World Extermination most.

World Extermination for me, but only just, and prolly coz my fave track by them, Human Trafficking, is on it.

i still need to check out their other stuff but ya world extermination is pretty sick

The only later release I'm familiar with is [I]Girls Born in the 90's[/I].

But trust me dude you're not gonna like it. It's just a minute or two of feedback and screeching. I listen to all kinds of industrial and avant garde noise nonsense and I still thought it was pointless.
