sometimes it's just nice to get out of the house. go to the right bars and you can hear good music, see a live band or maybe meet some interesting people. it's not like you have to spend a ton of money, usually i'll just have a few drinks at a friend's place before going out anyways. and yeah sometimes you can meet a broad but ultimately it's just nice to be in a different social environment than slumming around at people's houses.

that all is true actually, i think i'm gonna start drinking a 40 before the bar more often, i did that two weeks ago and it made it a lot more enjoyable

I don't really plan on spending tons of time in bars trying to pick up chicks but I've been to an Irish pub in Canada that had live music with friends and it was really enjoyable just to eat some good food with a few pints while enjoying the atmosphere.

I don't see why you constantly have to be condescending on activities other people enjoy just because you're a lonely introvert.
