I just don't post when I see people naming lists of their favorite songs/solos/etc, which happens often.

metal guitar III 03-12-2005 04:49 AM

For greatest hits, can't leave out The Thing That Should Not Be.
As for dvds, I would recommend Live Sh*t.

btoto 03-12-2005 05:30 AM

The Thing That Should Not Be is a great song. That song and Leper Messiah are my 2 favs from MOP.

TTTSNB especially sounds bloody good on S&M.

metal guitar III 03-12-2005 05:35 AM

Morning btoto
As for Leper Messiah, if someone asked me what I thought was the weakest song on MOP, I would say Leper Messiah, but yeah, personal tastes....
By the way, you should join this forum:http://s9.invisionfree.com/Entertainment_Forums/index.php?
It's people from mx, but wothout n00bs, it's still very new.

btoto 03-12-2005 06:26 AM

Good Morning  ........... oh, it's afternoon here :upset:

Hey thanks for that link. I thing I should join it....maybe a bit later, because I hate all that registration process.

As for Leper Messiah, I love it because it's very different from 'tallica's early "smash-kill-destroy-rape-die" songs. Lyric wise it stands in the album as one of the best. And musically it's very well constructed.

Well, again tastes...

metal guitar III 03-12-2005 06:31 AM

Yeah thats right, the lyrics are excellent on that song. By the way, if you join, introduce yourself in the introduce yourself thread.

shadow_stalker 03-12-2005 06:42 AM
By the way, if you join, introduce yourself in the introduce yourself thread.
How ironic.

I love Leper Messiah its one of my favs off of MOP, the only songs i dont really like on tat album are 'the things that should not be' and 'orion'.

Oh my God I'm sick of people writing shorts of songs like TTTSNB!... People might not always understand you...

Ok, Thank you all for your replies.. I have just got £112 the evil taxman owed me lol, I have bought Apocalyptica.. Its great, one of the cellos even represents percussion,, Its pretty cool

I have never saw

Cliff em all DVD
Frantic single
St Anger single

In any stores near here, so i will ask if i can order them in...
Also i have heard of a new Hip Hop tribute album coming out, so that will be interesting..
I have been thinking about Vinyl's I noticed a store in a small backstreet a couple of days ago, and i was looking in there and they have thousands of them... From Skid row, to Ride the lightning.... I already have S.t Anger on vinyl, they released some a few days after the major release of it....
Also... I have 57 Metallica Shirts, and 2 Metallica Bandanas.. And about 7 Posters around my room lol....
Anyone know if the Metallica figures are still being sold???
I never did find any Metallica trousers so i got some huge Jeans and sewed on 7 Metallica Patches lol....

Why not just get Kill 'em All? That's a greatest hits in itself.

Enter Sandman is not one of their greatest hits, in my opinion.

Pisungen 03-12-2005 07:06 AM

Well you're missing alot of singles, but one of the must (imo): Jump in the fire / Creeping Death Single...

btoto 03-12-2005 07:09 AM
Oh my God I'm sick of people writing shorts of songs like TTTSNB!... People might not always understand you...
I already mentioned that song in the same post.
Only homos like you won't understand it.
Oh my God I'm sick of people writing shorts of songs like TTTSNB!... People might not always understand you...
Most people here know Metallica, and so they are generally able to figure these things out.

Pisungen 03-12-2005 07:57 AM
I already mentioned that song in the same post.

I don't what to say... Didn't they put a "13 years or older" questionon this forum ? Why did you lie?..........

So here's my point if you didn't understand it (which you didn't):

I am tired of people (in general, not just you) using FTB, AJFA, KEA, MOP, RTL etc etc etc when they're too lazy to write Fade to Black ...And justice for All etc... You might not which one you're talking about... If metallica does a new track, Feel the Blood, or somthing like that...

2nd my opinion of a forum is that it should be like small talk... When you talk to you're friends or whatever you don't say TTTSNB... right?

I think using nicknames would be better... Like "nothing else" or "Sandman" etc... Like you speak it...

Just my opinion

Btw: Please don't reply ... if you want to talk about this create a new thread... I just needed to show my opinion...

Pisungen 03-12-2005 08:00 AM
Why not just get Kill 'em All? That's a greatest hits in itself.

Wrong... It's not one of the ones you like, but it is one of their greatest hits...
